If they are paid extra to prolapse is even worse, like a financial incentive for girls to damage their own bodies.
Well rosebuding can be an unplanned side effect from to much anal, but let's say that some other physical damage to the female models like cutting scars on arms and thighs would become the latest craze (just to make sort of a comparison) wouldn't you think that girls who are desperate for money and lots of work would start to cut themselves?
Or perhaps a more "normal" example, fashion models are pushed to be really skinny, quite a few become anorexic and some has died from it. (well that's kinda much more worse than rectal problems and incontinence) but perhaps the fashion models don't like to starve themselves but in order to have a good career they more or less have to do it (eventhough many knows that it's damaging to their bodies and health)

^ Sigh.
Again, what about girls getting paid to damage bodies for the things that you like?
Stop pretending this is some moral crusade that you are doing on behalf of the performers. That's such a transparent sham I can't imagine why you're still trying to pretend otherwise. You clearly don't care about the performers' well being, you're just grossed out by this particular thing and are trying to justify your repulsion without sounding like a prude.
You don't like it. We get it. Fine. nobody is saying you should, but just drop all of this "protecting the performers" nonsense that you keep clinging to. You're fine when they do it for your enjoyment as demonstrated numerous times in this and other threads.
What happens in porn isn't any different from tons of other jobs out there. People in non-porn jobs go out and risk death, dismemberment, cancer, Parkinson's, and tons of other diseases and side effects from the jobs they've chosen. Not everyone can sit behind a desk all day. The world is full of people that risk far greater things than incontinence so that you can be entertained or receive some totally unnecessary 1st world luxury. But again you seem perfectly okay with all of that because you actually benefit from it.
Drop this silly charade already.

^ Agreed, it's all so transparent. He also continues to avoid the obvious question I've repeatedly posed him - if you don't watch it because it disgusts you, why do you care what they do if you're not paying them to continue doing it? I'd love an answer...

You're one to talk about transparency after you denied being a prolapse lover and then went on to show expert knowledge and details about it that only a fan, no make that an extremist, would know. And vehemently defending it along with your little regime here as if your life depends on it(probably a fear that this sick act's existence would be in danger if more people become aware about the risks) like spending many hours upon hours searching and digging through people's posts and threads to then twist words or blatantly lie(like how I exposed your lies about me earlier) to commit character assasination.
Your hypocrisy is probably part of your trolling. Drop your silly charade already.

Or somebody who worked several years in a hospital. But don't let that fact get in the way of your ill advised rants. I range anywhere from neutral to a pretty substantial dislike of prolapsing. Most of the time when it happens it is just something that happens. I neither like it nor dislike it. On occasion I'll see an example that I find pretty awful (as I've already mentioned before) but for the most part I would put it in the same category that I do pubic hair. I don't really care if a chick has a bush or not. As long as it isn't some giant mess that distracts from the sex then I don't really care. If it starts to detract from the scene then I don't like it.
I'll defend the right of two consenting adults to do anything they want with regards to sex just as vehemently. The particular topic has nothing to do with it. I think eating ass is pretty damn gross, but if someone goes on some stupid rant about how it should be banned in movies because of how gross it is, oh yeah, and because of the health risks it represents (which are pretty clear) I'll defend it just as vigorously. In fact if you or anyone else on here ever encounter anyone in another thread suggesting that a particular genre/style of porn be eliminated please send me a PM so I go fight the good fight.
That sick act poses very little risk. As I've said before the people all up in arms about this don't seem to have a full grasp on the cause/effect nature of what's happening, but seem quite content to spread misinformation in order to promote their agenda. But if it disappeared from porn completely today it wouldn't effect my porn viewing at all. (as stated above it's easy enough to avoid if one is actually inclined to do so despite the protests from you and the OP)
It took about 5 minutes apiece to find quotes from you and the OP. In the OP's case it showed clear interest in "dangerous" acts with little to no concern regarding the health and safety of the performer. Same goes for you. Words were not twisted. I included plenty of context with my quotes and links to the original posts for those interested in the entire conversation.
I did no such thing. I just exposed the hypocritical nature of your rants on here. You seem to be under the misguided impression that since I listed a bunch of threads you participated in (several but not all of which were topics that you clearly like) that my point was somehow invalid because you don't like "dirty ATM" but my point was that you still participated in that and several other threads without ever raising a single health objection to the performers. Just like the OP this one topic where you happen to have a particular revulsion to the topic is where you suddenly change gears and play the health and safety card. In a vacuum that's fine but this board isn't a vacuum and it appears disingenuous in light of your body of work on this board.
Calling people trolls when you have no valid argument against them however is pretty consistent with your posting history.

^LOL must be nice to have cheerleaders supporting eachother on command.
Murdock I'm not getting into sentence-by-sentence arguments with you again since I know that's your trolling MO and you love nothing more than to spend a ton of time on that as you have too much of it in your hands. LOL @ you working at a hospital. Yeah, no. I'm glad you keep a sense of humor within your shtick.
I'm just going to expose your hypocrisy and blatant lies again so people can see what side is defending the prolapse regime here.
You tried to claim that I'm into dirty a2m just because I happened to post in that thread, and you're so laughable that just because I didn't think I had to mention that LITERALLY eating poop off a dick is very dangerous and that my general disgust about it would be understandable enough, I must be into it. Here's my proof again that you lied and all you could muster up in a response was "....well, I don't really care":
https://forum.adultdvdtalk.com/when-will-dirty-ass-to-mouth-become-normal-in-porn#post
"No it won't. There are some things that could simply never become part of the norm because of how people are brought up and feel about it instinctively. Anything involving scat is part of it, vomit too for example. When I see dirty ass to mouth in a scene(disgraceful if it hasn't been cut out of the final product that doesn't warn you for this) I have to make myself believe that's it's some left over enema otherwise I get too sick to my stomach. Regardless, that would be the end of that scene for me. Forever."
And here's your earlier quote again:
Which nobody at this point with more than one brain cell would believe.
^That's your level of credibility at the moment which is at a - right now. I'm not always right or an expert on this matter, but I never stooped to these type of lows, no that would be the prolapse regime's MO. Go ahead, sentence cutting troll.

Says the captain of geralt's pom-pom squad.
Smart of you to avoid arguments that you'll know you 'll lose. More insight than I expected from you.
Still beats your honorary wikipedia degree.
I take back what I said about your insight. I guess I spoke too soon. I do love that you think that there is a prolapse regime and that I'm a part of it, it's kinda flattering.
If your disgust for dirty atm made it so obvious that you were concerned for the performers, then why the need to elaborate here? And as far as what I said regarding your posting in the Dirty ATM thread, here is my original quote:
You'll notice there is nothing about you liking Dirty ATM there, just that participated in that thread. (which you did) and that you didn't show any concern for the performers well being (which you didn't)
I would give most people with a few brain cells enough credit to distinguish between fighting for personal freedom and being a fan of prolapsing. Don't assume because you can't figure out what's going on that nobody else can either.
Well the good thing is I'm not really worried about how much credibility I hold with you. I'm sure you can probably guess what esteem I hold your opinion in. As to sentence cutting... you asked for it.

OK this is not a competition. This is not about winning the internet. This is not about burning each other over and over again.
This is a discussion thread where one person believed that something is dangerous and should not be allowed. Others defended the practice, either saying that it isn't dangerous, or that it might be but that isn't a reason to disallow it.
Let's get back to that place.
There are valid conversations to be had here, either over prolapsing and its long-term effects (if any), or over the nature of paid work and whether it's right to ask people to do certain things just because they're willing to do them for money.
But this tit-for-tat arguing is only going to end up with one or more of you going too far and saying something you can't take back, and finding yourself banned from ADT. I've seen it happen in countless threads in my time here as moderator.
Let's pull this one back from the brink before it falls off the deactivation cliff.

The argument 'if you don't like it, don't watch it' is simplistic and unhelpful. It can be used to justify anything and is particularly popular with people who rely on catchy soundbites rather than serious discussion. The topic of prolapsing isn't just a matter of sexual preference and who finds it sexy and who doesn't. It is an exercise that can lead to fecal incontinence and rectal ulcers. So it is perfectly valid to ask whether movie makers should be encouraging it. Some viewers may be persuaded to try it, when a doctor would say 'don't.

^ "If you don't like it, don't watch it" isn't any sort of justification at all. It is simply a helpful tip for those that find it offensive. (and it works for plenty of other things too) The justification for it is that most here believe in personal freedom, and that sometimes includes the freedom to do things that harm yourself. (much like I support one's right to eat bacon or beef, even if it is generally considered unhealthy, can lead to heart disease, and is considered anywhere between "sinful" and sacrilege" in various religions in the world)
Sure you can ask if viewing it in porn will lead people to try it themselves, but that same question has already been asked in relation to various forms of violence in movies, television and video game and all of the evidence points to a resounding "no." I sincerely doubt the answer is any different for any activities in porn, (I can honestly say I've never been tempted to shove my lover off the bed so I can stand over her and fuck her in a piledriver position because I saw it in a porno once)
And with regards to your bogus medical claims, while prolapsing may be associated with various other medical conditions there is no evidence that shows that prolapsing itself is the cause. (the same internal tissue trauma that made the prolapse possible is generally accepted as the cause of the other associated conditions. So if you want to have a discussion about how dangerous it is to any sort of extreme insertions (DAP, DVP, fisting, huge dildos, and might as well throw prego porn in there while we're at it) I think you might find it a little more useful. (I still thing it's wrong to ban that sort of stuff, but at least you're barking up the right tree when you point to it as the root cause)
If we limited porn to depict what doctors would recommend, we'd all be watching Red Shoe Diaries on Skinimax.

Most doctors wouldn't endorse ass to mouth or ass to vag either. Would you have those acts banished from porn along with prolapsing?

Unless you are actively protesting against it and taking steps as part of some anti-prolapse movement under the guise of "protecting performer health" than the "If you don't like it don't watch it adage" is perfectly acceptable. To profess a pseudo "care" for performer health with doing nothing to back it up other than empty words on an anonymous looks nothing more than white knighting and, quite frankly, self-righteous hypocrisy. It is not your obligation, nor anybody else's, to dictate to a performer what they should or should not do when they are the ones who are a damn sight more aware of the risks they are putting their bodies through on a daily basis. Furthermore, you are not in any position to lecture to anybody else who does like this kind of porn when a) your tatses are different to others, and b) the so-called evidence you are citing is unsubstantial and weak at best. You are not funding the performers to continue doing it because you don't buy it. Let that be protest enough. Anything more is stepping over the line.

I think one is allowed to say they don't think prolapsing is a good idea without being called either a dictator or a hypocrite.
Not everyone who has posted concern about prolapsing here or elsewhere has called for an outright ban on the act. (A band that would be enforced by whom? It's not clear.)
It's possible a woman who has prolapsed in porn (or may in the future) has never even considered any negative consequences. Maybe some concerns brought up might cause her to do so. She may then determine that there is not enough weight to the arguments against prolapsing that it warrants her to reconsider her actions. But she may also decide that it is not worth the potential risks (if she believes there to be any).
The problem with the "if you don't like it don't watch it" claim is it assumes that there is no problem with "it", whatever "it" is. And while some people have made that conclusion, others have not. Now, there is validity to saying "hey even if you think it's unhealthy (like bacon), you can't stop people from doing it". But people do talk about the unhealthiness of bacon. A lot. So why wouldn't they talk about the unhealthiness of other things?
Frankly I think we'd be fools to assume that enough testing has been done on the long-term effects of having a porn career like Extreme Ty's, for instance, simply because not enough women have done things that extreme on such a regular basis, who are then being tested extensively for any possible medical issues many years down the road (especially since extreme prolapsing has really only hit mainstream porn with any significant frequency in the last decade, maybe two).
It's not like there's a medical journal called "Jay Sin girls at age 60+" or anything like that.

^ Fair point all.
However I would counter with this: I've already addressed those that are calling for an outright ban, so for those who are just expressing concern (a reasonable reaction) I'd like to know what you've based your concern upon? Was prolapsing something that you were already familiar with prior to seeing it in porn, or were you exposed to it initially through pornography and then moved forward from there? I suspect that most here probably had little to no knowledge or experience with prolapsing before they saw it in porn (because it's simply not that common of an occurrence) and just assumed it must be unhealthy, and sought about to prove their initial suspicions. The problem is that it is associated with some unhealthy things but isn't necessarily the cause of any of them, but poor logic leads people to the wrong conclusions.
If you're saying that performers should be educated regarding the risks of their actions I don't really have a problem with that, but why single out prolapsing? Let's educate performers on the risks of everything they do. Make sure that they are aware of the potential consequences of things like anal sex, ass-to-mouth, rimming, large penetrations (including multiple cocks, fisting, large dildos, traffic cones, bowling pins, sports equipment, beverage containers, feet, cooking implements, lawn and garden equipment, etc, etc) and of course things like pregnancy and STDs. I don't like the idea of conning some naive young woman into wrecking her body because she doesn't know the potential consequences, so I'm all for education, but at the same time, who's responsibility is that? How much education does the NFL provide for their players regarding the injuries they might sustain? Shouldn't people have a little bit of personal responsibility to lookout for themselves, or must we always rely on corporations and the government to look out for what's in out own best interest?
The real problem here is that there is no good solution to the issue that doesn't tread dangerously far into infringing upon personal freedom, and I think that is something that is pretty sacred in the porn community. Anything you try to do to eliminate the act itself is going to be a blatant violation of that freedom. If you're okay with educating people and letting them make their own decision then you have to assume there are still going to be people who do it anyway. (how many people here avoided premarital sex because of all the STD and pregnancy movies they showed you in sex ed?) And if we acknowledge that people are still going to be doing it anyway, that brings us back to the only real recourse for people that don't like to see it... "Don't watch it." So while it might seem like a flippant reply on the surface, it is the most helpful thing I can offer to those that don't like it without trying to cut into all of our personal freedoms.

Back when AIM was around they did distribute an educational vid about all sorts of performer risks in porn. The usual stuff about pregnancy, STDs, anal, general wear on sex organs due to overwork etc. I think it also talked about other things performers might need to think about, like social stigma etc. I don't know in detail every single thing it mentioned. I think it's still in circulation amongst various performers. Not sure if APAC has an updated version.
It probably didn't address prolapsing though, as that has only appeared more recently in mainstream LA porn.
I think it is not only responsible to provide something like this, but also in the best interests of groups like AIM or APAC, to make sure they have happy and (physically as well as mentally) healthy performers among their ranks.
Note that by saying "it's a responsible thing to do" is not the same as saying "it is their responsibility to make sure that this is done". I don't believe that it is their responsibility to ensure such a video exists.
But it probably never harmed anyone who watched it. And it may have helped some people too.

A bit offtopic but this article is dramatic:
I understand people write on forums etc (some can say tomato or tomayto, tomahto) but if some one write article should use corect tearm rosebutt.
First official was in 2001 Xthorgal with his rosebutt on pornparks platform, then in 2007 appear rosebuttboard.com bigest till now board about rosebutt, prolapse and fisting. Mean time there were first two members pages with rosebutt like amazingty.com and bubdzia.com (both using rosebutt tearm).
Before Xthorgal was also some groups on yahoo, msn or board egapering and bjsextreme and ALL of them use rosebutt.
Rosebud is... anal jewelry www.rosebuds.net from ages.

^Best post of the thread.
(Regarding the term "rosebud" in reference to anal sex and ass-holes, you do realize that the studio--Rosebud Productions--has been around with predominantly anal-themed films since the early 1990's, right? Their logo? A suggestive rose...)

^Rosebud has been a term synonymous with anal sex and assholes for decades...not simply the "anal jewelry" that you originally claimed.
Further, with English being the ever-evolving language that it is, it's currently correct to describe the phenomenon as "rosebud" as much as it is "rosebutt", as both are slang and slang that's commonly recognized and accepted is, almost by definition, "correct".
"Rosebud", "Rosebutt", "Pink Sock", etc. are essentially synonyms at this juncture. It honestly doesn't matter which came first in employing the common vernacular.
(Am I really having this debate right now? LOL)
(Sorry for going off-topic, all.)

^FWIW I had never even encountered the portmanteau version of the word until the above few posts.
And this tangent reminds me of a discussion on a sports forum where a guy got all bent out of shape because people were using a capital "A" to spell "adidas"
In an industry where box covers frequently spell the stars' names wrong, I'm not sure that it matters which spelling of the slang term is used, but that's just my opinion.
Edit: I was also going to post the popular black and white "clapping" gif, but I don't think animated gifs work on here, and I'm not sure how many people would get the joke.

I hope that that educational video is still around, sounds pretty excellent =) I think it's important for performers who get into the industry to have all the facts, because once doing porn it'll never go away there will always be footage and clips online so it's a big decision.
And very good for the performers to know about the risks of things they are doing in scenes so that they can really make a sensible decision on what type of acts they will do.
The one thing I get upset about is the social stigma, people are just ignorant. Personally I think it'd be very cool to know a porn star pitty that the public or crazy religious people can't see it the same way :(
