Porn on the PSP? It doesn't seem to me that there is a market for it. Although the average gamer is now over the age of 18 games and gaming systems are still marketed to the youth most often. There would definitely be a backlash effect if the PSP started having porn titles.
I also don't think that many people would adopt the idea of watching porn on the go anyway.
Yeah, but you will go blind trying to make out the detail. Is that a gape or a spot on my screen?

Sony would have to allow licensing in order for that to happen and I don't think Sony would ever do that. As for the market for that, it would probably be pretty good. Keep in mind that the average gamer is now 18-34, which is about the same for porn.
Playboy.com is offering pictures and videos for download that are specifically produced for the PSP.
>From Mobilemag.com "Playboy has announced that they will be offering “downloadable beauties” onto the Sony PlayStation Pornable. They will be launching a feature named “PlayboyStation Portable" which will feature a sci-fi themed pictorial of the Cyber Girl for the Year 2005 Amy Sue Cooper."
>From Playboy.com- "...Always trying to stay ahead of the high-tech curve, we were thrilled when we received our cool, new Sony PSP and found the screen to be bigger and the resolution higher than any portable device we've seen. The second we saw the PSP's capabilities we knew we had to add the Playboy spin to it. Now you can download exclusive video and images of Cyber Girl of the year Amy Sue Cooper, photographed and formatted specifically for viewing on your PlayStation Portable.
"Gaming and the Internet go hand in hand, so shooting sexy, action-themed pictorials and video for the coolest piece of portable gaming technology out there was a no-brainer," said Playboy.com's managing photo editor Chad Doering. "We took advantage of the PSP's 16:9 widescreen ratio and developed our own video game action heroine the way only Playboy can do it. Our Cyber Girl of the Year proved that she not only looks great playing in the sand and surf but can kick ass and take phone numbers later."
"The shoot was tons of fun," the buff and toned Amy Sue Cooper said after finishing her sci-fi-themed photo shoot. "Swords. Kung-fu. Leather.... Now I know what it feels like to be inside a video game." After seeing her pictures and video on the PSP, she added, "The thought of being carried around in a guy's pocket and having him push my buttons is really sexy."
I'm not even really sure what exactly a PSP is, but if it is a game machine then no USA company would release porn titles for it (not for the next 4 years or so).
The first movie I saw for PSP was "Open Water". I first thought that it was a video game based on the movie, but when I looked at it again I realized that it was just the movie itself. As for porn titles on PSP, I don't know how many people would buy them. I'm guessing that most people would rather watch porno films at home, so I don't know is this is even marketable. But I could be wrong.
"Pornography producers will soon release sexually explicit discs for Sony's portable game console, most of whose users are minors.
Two makers of adult movies plan to sell their products for the console as early as July, and several other pornographers are apparently ready to follow, Japanese newspaper the Asahi Shimbun reported Friday.
"It is utterly undesirable, but we cannot stop software makers from selling such videos," a public relations official at Sony Computer Entertainment Inc. said."
But surprisingly, Sony is already going to be allowing it in Japan. Apparently their stance is that they will review and approve (or not) video game content, but not movies released in the UMD format.
Ive got mixed emotions about the PSP...i was looking at my local video game store the other say, and there's more movie titles than video games...i seriously would rather buy a DVD than a psp movie.
