I just watched a bit of dd 'behind the scenes' today.. I have to voice this first though, I think I'm getting a small crush or Stefani. Dunno why, I've seen more porn than the majority of guys and never felt that way before, I can barely watch the performance, it gives me the chills to see her getting it on with another guy. How lol is this. I sounds like a dam teenager.. I'll try to be neutral though, and stick to formality since this forum is really down to the ground, I've strayed a lot (hey, I'm a sap too).
The 'behind the scenes' didn't look too fake, but I think it portrayed only the one side of every person. Like the director being pissed at the girls for not being happy puppies but 'primadonnas' (though he ain't the one flashing himself on the cam or doing stuff but still he demands the most of everyone). Or the girls acting like brats (but noone cares if Stefani e.g. is in the middle of a shithole with a bunch of stupid bitches around griefing her and being backstabbers for all kinds of reasons). And while this all looks a bit too highschool drama and 'grow up already' for most of the girls on the movie, I doubt it is that simple in this industry. And I gotta say that, Stefani, you really are too good for any shit. Just whatever you do girl, make sure that it's the best for you and that you get all that you deserve. And if it's porn, keep on the way you have so far, it's perfect imo, you can't go wrong. Anyone disagrees?
p.s. if you go singing though and it's like they showed on the reality show.. please reconsider. You can rule everything else ><
I catch the final (though my first and probably only) episode of the show, which ends with the message that Stefani has fallen in love and left the industry with her whereabouts unknown. This, of course, draws to mind a comparison to the original Debbie. I come to ADT, looking to more or less say that "Damn, that show makes me miss Family Business...but Sunny Leone looked gorgeous as ever." I find this big thread and it turns out that Stefani posts here. On top of that, she is apparently back in action.

The show kind of portrayed her as a neutral character, whereas Steven had all the flare and fire (although he wasn't that good at acting out the flare and fire sometimes). Who do you like dealing with more Marci or Steven?

Ok, I just watched the whole Debbie Does Dallas... Again movie. Here are my thoughts:
1. There is some decent acting in the movie. Stefani is a good actress, as is Penny Flame. I really enjoyed Penny's comedic timing and thought that she and Stefani played off of eachother very well . Monique is also a good actress, except at acting like she knows how to give blowjobs, because she clearly does not. Hillary Scott is a solid actress and she was a very nice addition to this cast. I wonder why the Showtime documentary didn't spend more time on Penny and Hillary. Lacie Heart is not a good actress. Her lines sounded completely forced and it made me cringe when she delivered them. I'm glad she did not play a bigger role in the story. I guess Derrick Pierce was alright, but when he was crying over Debbie at her funeral, the crying was horrible and fake.
2. PT is nuts. What the F? After all his years in porn, you would think that he would know how to light a scene so we can at least SEE the pentration. Some scenes were lit ok, but some were WAY too dark. I had to fast forward Sunny Leone's scene (which pissed me off cause I think she's hot) because I couldn't see a damn thing. Same with the scene in which Stefani, Penny, Evan Stone, and other solo girls get busy on the car. This could have been the hottest scene ever made, but for some ridiculous reason PT lit it so dark that almost all the action is unable to be seen.
3. There were disjointed and extraneous elements to the plot. The part where PT is the weird foreign priest in the cemetary and spills all the person's ashes all over himself is completely ridiculous, unnecessary, and just plain bizarre. It is one thing to have an extraneous scene if the scene is funny, but this wasn't funny at all and I felt like it was just a weird ploy for PT to make a cameo. Also, the whole part with Hillary Scott's boyfriend, who dresses in the cheerleader outfit, is retarded. PT even said that he put the guy in the cheerleader outfit for no real reason at all, it was just a spur of the moment addition. PT, if you're reading this, a dude in a cheerleader outfit, getting a BJ under his skirt, it NOT hot. I did enjoy Hillary's marshall arts skills when she kicked the boyfriend's ass, however.
I was dissapointed because I thought that this movie could have been really good. After all of PT's big talk on the Showtime series about how he's trying to do everything with his movies that Martin Scorsese does with his movies, and all the shit PT talked about how the original Debbie was a bad movie, I thought maybe he would make a good movie. He certainly had the right tools and for the most part a very strong cast, but he came up short. In fact, the original Debbie probably IS a better movie than this one!
Because neither one of them is a Vivid contract girl, and anyone doing a search on them is more than likely going to end up spending money on someone else's (Let's say, Shane's World and Sex-Z, or various other gonzo companies) product rather than Vivid's. Hence, Vivid's girls are front and centre with regards to promotion and screentime.

wusshater, thanks so much for your very informative review. I do have a couple of additional questions about the movie that I'd like get answered from anyone who's seen DDA:
1. You were disappointed by the lighting of the sex scenes, but what about the editing?
2. I am not a fan of rough and overly degrading sex scenes. Unfortunately, PT has included some very rough gonzoesque scenes in his recent work (my point of references are the bbg and Roxy Jezel scenes from 'Flasher') Here's my question: Is the slap that Penny gave SM an isolated incident or is DDA the type of movie where the female actresses are continously roughed up and pushed around throughout the course of the movie?

How did I miss that fact? There were a few funny moments, especially some of Penny's lines, but does its being a comedy change the fact that it is a porno? In porn, you are supposed to be able to SEE the sex, that is the whole point, whether the genre is comedy, sci-fi, drama, horror, etc.
I do feel bad that I called PT nuts; he is not nuts, and from watching the Showtime doc he seems like a pretty nice, decent person. Still, I stand by all the critiques of the movie that I made...

And Alexander, the slaps from Penny to Stefani are indeed isolated. The female actresses are not continually roughed-up during the movie - maybe a tiny bit from hillary scott's weird boyfriend (although I'm trying to think about it and I'm not eevn sure about this), but he gets his ass kicked by hillary scott so it's all good.
I found all the above conversation 'interesting' but dam, you guys got Stefani Morgan here and you're talking about how PT lit the scenes and where he put the m/f boom. I mean please. Acting cool is one thing, but imo this thread is blessed but getting dryfucked.

Actually, I think that you'd find that there isn't that much variation in mainstream either. Let me explain. I think that you have only half of the equation right. Every girl you play is not simply a whore, because the image of the whore, alone holds little allure.
I would suggest that every girl you play is the embodiment of the Madonna/Whore split. It pits the idealized unobtainable beauty vs. the insatiable sex machine. Yes it is completely contradictory, unrealistic and has nothing to do with actual women, but our mass entertainments Hollywood, Porn and the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit addition etc.. create dreamworlds that allows us guys to have our cake and eat it to.

not babied. hehe the good news is whenever i dye my hair dark people stop treating me like i'm 5...so that isn't a far fetched request :) and to be honest, i'm just happier now. a lot has happened in my life the past few years, and it all just exploded. once you hit a certain point, you just bounce back with a clean slate. i haven't felt so great in at least a couple years :) and i know it will show in my scenes.

Id really like to see you direct your own movies. To me it seems Vivid has gotten alittle stale in their movie making they seem to be basicly making the same movie over and over again. Maybe you could add the extra edge vivid has lacked in their movies of late
to be honest, there are several changes i would make. not that things are horribly wrong as is, just i think things have fallen into a set pattern withthe company. but then again, i would laugh if i ran a big adult company and a 21 yr old pornstar on my pay roll came to me with her brilliant ideas lol.
