Already did that. Someone at the post office gave the package to the wrong mailman who never really bothered to check the address and then all this happened.
My regular mailman knows who I am and always leaves packages at my front door (lol even though I tell him all these DVD's are kung fu movies). He also told me his supervisor did chew out the people who gave it to the wrong mailman, as well as that mailman for not paying attention.
That doesn't help this package is now lost somewhere.
Also not sure what ADM can do. I've been in regular contact with DVD Movies about this and the person I've been speaking to has been extremely nice about the whole thing.
So I'm not sure if ADM really is the next step.
Hell, I've noticed that all copies of Corruption are no longer being sold on ADM. Apparently all of Sex Z pictures aren't being sold on there anymore at their request according to a notice ADM has when you type in Corruption.
Doesn't look that way. Going to ADM I get this when I pull up Corruption:They have similar messages up for a couple other Sex Z titles I checked. I wonder if Sex Z is going to come down on Ebay as well since ADM is just a broker service for individuals...

In that case, take your receipt down and ask that the postman who fucked up make up for it. Let him know that you're not picky, so he can either pay you back for the amount on the receipt or buy you a replacement copy.

OK Bill, now that you mention the not released yet Collectors edition, When will it be released??? This is the version most of us really wanted in the first place.
Still need to take my reciept to the post office to get my money credited for the DVD (long as its in the system I know I can do that plus still have said tracking number.
But, went to ADE today, saw that they were selling Corruption for under $20 at 45% off. LOL so of course I bought it.......
then called their customer service line to see if they could tell me if its the edited version cause if so I'd cancel the order.
The website still shows the original box cover, with no sign of the quotes on the box cover that would clearly distinguish it as the 2nd version as we've been told on here is the real difference.
The customer service lady's response was as far as she knew, it was the same version as what's on the website (then again, the minute she realized I was asking about an adult film she sounded like she wanted off the phone so bad.)
So its waiting time again, only this time I'm assuming the package should get delivered properly. And if I get the wrong one, and ADE isn't advertising the correct version, I'm going to complain on that one.
Annnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnd the package came in the mail today. And its the edited version.
So unfortunately, it appears that Adult DVD Empire is selling their copy with faulty information.
I followed the advice Eli Cross put on the first page of this thread and E-Mailed SexZ themselves with the order number, who I got it from, what their site still lists, and will just wait and see if I can get a response.
If you contacted Bo, I'm confident that he will take care of the problem for you. It may take him a little while to get back to you as it doesn't appear that he checks e-mails when he is away from the office. But he will get back to you.
Even if you end up speaking to the guy who gave me a hard time, I don't think that you will have a problem. When he was bad-mouthing ADM, he used Empire as an example of a retailer that he would have replaced the disc had I bought from them.
LOL it'll depend I guess on who reads the E-Mails there I guess. I could see about calling them also, but figure I'll give it the 24 hour wait first like they say when you send them something.
You do wonder how many of these kind of calls/E-Mails they may have gotten. Surprisingly I've only ever read anyone having this type of problem in this thread and it was only a few of us to begin with.
I'm quoting your previous statement again while I show you what SexZ's response to me was:
Thank you for contacting us.
If you bought the movie from Adult DVD Empire you need to contact them. Although we do have the movie available for purchase through our site we do not use Adult DVD Empire.
There version may not be the same version as we have on the site.

LOL I should assume now I should use the phone number?
I see the problem. Since Eli wrote his post giving instructions on what to do, SexZ Pictures has changed its website. Instead of the "contact us" page that required you to fill out a form on their website, the old website had multiple e-mail addresses listed, including Bo's. That's the one that Eli had instructed us to use in order to request an exchange.
When I e-mailed Bo, I told him about this thread and that Eli had suggested that we contact him directly. He then gave me further instructions. When I followed those instruction, I then told the next person that I was doing what Bo had instructed me to do.
I will e-mail you Bo's e-mail address, so you can try again. I will also send you the text of the e-mail that I sent to Bo.
I put up a short comment on the adultdvdempire.com website and included a note that stated that it was the edited version. Maybe this will help the customer to decide whether they want to order the edited version or look elsewhere.
Yeah I actually just read that review before I came here. Good stuff.
Though the question will be can you find the unedited one anywhere or is it not coming out since we know Eli's doing a more "definitive" version (which would make sense as well I guess).
Sitting twiddling the thumbs as I wait for a response from Bo............. :-)
Well, you can buy the Director's cut which is the original from the SexZ store: http://store.sexzpictures.com/detail/BC1F797CEA2511DBB354/aff/sexz/product/56537
or you can either email or call the adult retailers you want to purchase from and give them this UPC or SKU number and see if they carry this one: UPC:875804000644 SKU:875804000644 This is what is on the back of my unedited copy!
Some people have said that you don't really need the edited scene to enjoy the movie, but I for one want to see the director's vision and not the Censor's vision. The fisting scene was put in the movie for a reason and if you are going to watch the movie at all you need to see why it was put in. Good luck with purchasing this awesome movie!
Well like I said I followed earlier advice in this thread and went to directly to Bo at SexZ to see if its possible to exchange for a replacement.
Also, due to the fact that ADE is advertising their sales as if it is the original cut people are purchasing (since everyone knows what the differences are in the DVD packaging) I think its also a legit reason to ask for a replacement.
I got my first response from Bo the day after I wrote the e-mail. The second response too a week or two as he was not in the office and wasn't checking e-mails.
