I see there's no link tag on the first post in a thread.

I'll have to add that to the first post.

Are you working on it, Drew? Just wondering.

I forgot.

I did have one other request for that recently. I'll do it later this afternoon.

The [link] is there on the first post now but it's not real helpful.

I see the first post in every thread is now in a larger font too.

How come it doesn't link to the first post?

It does. It's just that if you have visited a thread you are automatically redirected to the last item you read in that thread. That's why I indicated it's not very helpful.

Since a few days for me on Firefox 2.0.0.3 on Linux.

And the link to the first post is handy if you want to show a thread to somebody else.

I'll need to look into the font size issue. I did strip out a tag but CSS should still cause it to render correctly. is there a big difference in the font size?

The [link] tag in the first post is helpful to right-click and get the properties of the URL to be able to use it in a post, email, etc.

Not a huge difference but a noticeable one. Roughly, the lower case letters in the first post are about the size of the upper case letters in the other posts.

I just opened this thread in IE to see the difference and I noticed a couple of things:
First, in IE but not Firefox, I now see a change in font size in the middle of your last post (!): the section from "tag but CSS..." to "...font size?" is larger than the rest of the post.
Second, I see in IE that links in a post are the same size as the rest of the text whereas in Firefox they show in a larger font. (This is not a recent change - links have always shown in Firefox in a larger font but I only now realise that is something peculiar to that browser.)
