It's good to hear that Kimmy's still doing scenes - I've always liked her. It had been so long since I had seen her name pop up that I kinda figured she quit the porn business.

I had already placed my order for Asian Fever 26 when I noticed Asian Persuasion. With the Loni/Kimmy g/g scene, it was highly likely to make it onto my next order. With the "nastiest" Nyomi Marcela scene ever you mentioned, it's almost a sure thing.

As far as Hustler's problems with the original edit of Asian Persuasion, were they content problems or stylistic problems? It would seem that content issues would be a bit easier to swallow than stylistic issues, although I suppose having to censor your art in any way must be irritating to say the least. If I recall correctly, in your deal with Madness Pictures, you own your movies and I would assume have final say on the what gets put out. Obviously, your deal with Hustler does not allow you the same latitude. How tough is it to chose what scenes gets done for the projects you own versus the ones you do for others?

I'm surprised that you're aware of my various deals -- did you finally sign up to ADT, mom? :) -- but yes, indeed, at Madness I have complete control -- though Andre certainly has the overrule option to not put out anything he deems unreleasable, we've never had an issue. He's very open-minded since he himself is a creator.

Of all the companies I've passed through -- & that would be a lot of them -- Video Team has been the best to work for on a work for hire basis. They might not be the biggest company on the block, but the people there are incredible & the owner is the most ethical & honest I've found. There's more ASIA NOIR coming up for them that I guarantee will equal or excel AF27 -- rt, I mean, ASIAN PERSUASION.

(sheesh -- it figures the LFPvid curse got me again -- in the 1st volume of the series, they butchered my awesome Surewood/Jade Marcela anal with a hack edit & cheesy needledrop chacka-chacka porn muzak, & now they manage to finally saddle my resume with one of the most overused, lamebrained "asian porn" titles to ever grace a thousand different two-dollar comps bootlegged by the Israelis ...)

Sorry - I didn't mean to come off as I have some intimate knowledge of your business dealings. I certainly don't. Although I was pretty sure I had read (probably here somewhere) the things I mentioned about you and Madness Pictures.

Anyways, thanks for the bits of insight on your experience with the various companies you work with. When it comes down to it, I own more of your dvd's than any other of the handful of directors whose films I enjoy. Your movies have a style that I find much more engaging than the typical porn (even more so when compared to the typical asian-themed porn). When you made your initial comments on your experience with Hustler, I was just curious if/how those types of things affected the things that I enjoy about your movies.

Do you have a release date for the next Asia Noir?
