I don't know which title, or titles you have, but a LOT of the ones I have do have trailers. I can't say all, but a lot of them do.

I had forgotten, as BIGmike pointed out, that Leslie does include trailers on his DVDs, but he is the exception rather than the rule at EA. Some of the more recent Rocco DVDs also include a trailer for Ass Collector, but I consider this a one-time, non-recurring phenomenon. Tricia, my question is: Why do EA DVDs not include trailers the way RLD DVDs do? I realize that this is a bit more complicated at EA because each director owns his own product, but the trailers on a certain DVD could at least be for works by the same director. I read reviews, search for opinions in these forums, examine boxcovers carefully, etc., in an attempt to make informed purchases, but, as they say, a picture is worth a thousand words. IMO, trailers are a great value-added service for customers and present a marketing opportunity for distributors, resulting in an increase in sales. [Link] |

I understand your points about using trailers as a way to see if you might like a movie. Another consideration is space on either the VHS or DVD. Even on the DVD, using 10 minutes of space for trailers is 10 minutes that we can't use for either the main movie, or extra sex, or the fetish menu. Currently, John Leslie is our only director who consistently does trailers. Perhaps in the future, more of directors may do trailers for some or most or all of their videos, but so far they haven't started that. [Link] |
