RIP Brandon. I originally posted this to reddit, but it was suggested that this forum is better for these types of questions, and that I sign up and post here instead, so here goes.

Just a couple questions about Brandon's Load my Mouth (LMM) series that I've been curious about.

1. Was LMM doing well or not? (I always assumed that because it kept going it was profitable, but there's clues in the news surrounding his passing that may not be so)

2. About how much did he pay each girl per scene? (The reason I'm asking is LMM stopped at 976 cumshots/videos, so I'm curious how much in total he paid over the years)

3. Did anyone out there ever watch the interview section for the first 5 mins of each scene? I never really did. Perhaps this was for Brandon's own shits & giggles?

4. What agency(s) did he tend to use? (that he had so many new faces who would get bigger later implies that these were decent agencies and LMM was an entry level scene for them)

5. What could he have done to make it more successful? (I see sites like Amateur Allure which is doing a very similar niche, but they use much better makeup and lighting, should Brandon have also?)

6. Who now owns the site and the content?

The only thing I can really answer for sure is the interview question. I always watched them. I love that kind of stuff if it seems real and it always did in his videos.

As far as the rest I think the site was more or less defunct for quite a while. I know he'd been selling the scenes on manyvids.

The answer for #5 is likely nothing because I don't think it was ever a question of popularity so much as the 2008 world crash causing a serious dent in most peoples pocket book coupled with an ever increasing amount of tube and torrent sites stealing just about everyone's content that basically killed whatever business model he had.

I'm including a link to answer #6.

Thanks, I'm not looking for anyone to answer all 6, but maybe if I can get a few people to answer one or two, maybe that would get most of them.

FWIW, Brandon did a few AMA's on reddit, but I had no idea he had contributed so much here. Had I known I would have asked him directly here (hopefully before he passed)

#1 One of the articles about his passing mentioned that he was shopping at thrift stores. That implies to me (assuming LMM was his main gig) that it wasn't doing too well.

# 2 Googling "rates for porn scenes" I'm taking a wild guess that he might have paid each girl maybe $1000 or so per scene? Do that seem high or low to anyone? (especially considering that he used mostly unknown talent)

Just asking. I appreciate any responses.

^I doubt he paid that kind of money for an oral only scene because those are standard b/g rates for vag sex. I'd say about half that amount is more accurate but ultimately it doesn't matter what he paid for those scenes because if the videos were stolen and just as quickly uploaded to tube and torrent sites then he made little to any profit from his work and therefore needed to find other source of income.

So it's likely he paid about $500 per oral only scene? But what about some of the scenes where it includes some doggie style vag sex near the end? Would he likely pay more money in an ala-carte style if the girl agreed to do that? (or did those girls agree to do that for no extra charge?)

How does that work? Are there any actresses or agencies that worked with him that could chime in on this?

Sorry to bump this, but is there another subforum here that might be more relevant to asking business related questions (pay rates, site ownership, etc) like what I'm asking here?

Or would anyone else maybe seeing this for the first time like to take a crack at my questions?

https://avn.com/business/articles/video/brandon-iron-confirmed-dead-841576.html

This article mentions what seems obviously as depression which likely led to the suicide. You would think he was living a happy life, but brain chemistry has a way of interfering with that.

Producers will never tell you how much they pay, they'll tell you an average. Agencies/models charge producers different rates depending on whatever reason they come up with.

The earlier comments about his models weren't true, he always booked big name girls or up and comers who went on to become big names later. I think he had good connections to be able to do that.

I didn't know that Brandon passed away! R.I.P.

I remember he used to post here and he was funny.

That would be plausible considering how many years he had been in the industry.

Bumping this thread after a long time....

Again, anyone want to guesstimate about on average what he paid his actresses per scene in LMM?

It would be interesting to multiply that by the 975 or so LMM scenes he did to come up with a total expenditure number.
