I'm glad that you feel that the content is getting better in terms of quality etc. Killergram tries to offer a wide variety of content styles within the daily update shedule, from high end cinema, through to niche studio and reality. We have looked at the option of shooting more euro girls and that may well be a possibility for some future series shoots. We take on board your requests etc but you must always consider that we are dealing with people and sometimes individuals may not want to shoot or work with certain people. I'm sure you can appreciate that as a producer/director I must respect the individuals wishes/limits. I also try to let the scenes develop naturally so for example when Syren made that comment, she wasn't instructed to do so by myself for example, she just did it. I think that real spontaneity is what makes the content hot and not contrived. A friend and I still enjoy collecting physical DVDs and Blu-rays (and even HD-DVDs in some cases). I realise that this industry is overwhelmingly moving towards VOD. That is very clear. For just a few examples Blu-ray (with the exceptions of Hustler, Digital Playground and Elegant Angel) is virtually dead now. DVDs look like they're slowly dying as well. I have no doubts about that. Take for example Acid Rain, Third World Media and West Coast Productions. They're all moving to releasing their titles on DVD-R discs!!! These aren't bootleg either. These are genuine studio releases. Evil Angel now routinely debuts scenes on their website before the DVD version. There are dozens and dozens of examples about the push to Internet downloads from pay sites or VOD sites. I will only ever favour a VOD over a DVD if the VOD is at a minimum the same or higher technical quality to the DVD version. I still think a high bit rate NTSC or PAL anamorphic DVD (say around the 7 to 8 Mbps video average) is vastly superior to VOD. Even so called 720p and 1080p "HD" clips can't compete with a very well encoded high bit rate DVD. Yes I know that the resolution is vastly superior but what about the bit rates? The bit rates of VOD is never high enough IMO. A well encoded porno Blu-ray absolutely annihalates a VOD due to bit rates IMO. I will take a DVDs low resolution (provided its very well encoded) over VOD. If you start talking 720p VOD using MP4 encoding at a bit rate of around 8 Mbps then I'm all ears. Likewise for 1080p at around 20Mbps then I'm listening (yes I know some Blu ray porn is lower than this). What do you think? [Link] |
