Guys when I have a full screen of quick time video. How do I get out of it without any mouse use. Do I use the keyboard and what keys?

I'm not sure of what media player you are using, but if it's Quicktime for either Windows or the Mac, the maker of the video can use a command during rendering that forces the image into full-screen mode, typically returning you to console mode at the end. I'm not sure this can be overridden.

Loraine,I tryed esc on a partial screen and it removed the video except for the gray bar below. I tryed ctrl/esc and it pulls up screen to the left with all my icons email, opera etc. What am I doing wrong? Do I need a full screen before esc will work. Last time I had to shut down my computer hard to get out of the full screen. Help

I hate Quicktime.
But yeah. Escape should do it.
