But then, I should also point out that I don't recall any actual slurs being exchanged. Basically, I've found that this type of dialogue can work depending on the scene, the performers, and how it's done. But having some dude just randomly tell girls to "Call me asshole," or "Call me dickhead," or "Call me ________," and she reluctantly does it only because he insists on it, that is not the way to do it; that's more of a letdown than a turn-on for me.
