This what was reported by Luke Ford today on his website. This is very sad news to pass on but we all need to stand with Raven in these times. Raven Alexis-Turn for the Worse...But Still Fighting! Raven Alexis says she has taken a turn for the worse. These last couple days she has been through so much. She had an abscessed tooth pulled, she’s been to the emergency room three times. She’s throwing up, feverish, in tremendous pain, but she’s still fighting! Right now she is in the hospital undergoing a stomach operation to try and extend her life. A Big Merry Christmas to Raven One of the greatest goals of Raven's (along with kicking cancer's ass!) was to be able to enjoy Christmas with her two boys and her man. Time to post an update on Raven. I now she was very excited to be able to enjoy Xmas with her 2 boys and her man. Congratulations Raven! Great news, and well deserved. You're a terrific performer, and an amazing person. That toy drive for kids with cancer was a fantastic idea. Stay strong!
She does look good, but it is worth mentioning that I seem to remember seeing a tweet by her that said she would be in a wig. But that is still good. A few months ago I was wishing her the best, but it wasn't sounding good for her at all. I mean, dirtjunior was tweeting for her. Now she can cam a little. Excellent, all around. Fuck, I had no idea she was sick. That's terrible, I was concerned reading throught this page of the thread, but I'm relieved to see that she's doing better. I really hope she stays strong and pulls through. She's a wonderful girl.

yeah great to hear she is back on twitter and on cam which surprised me a bit. a little over a month ago it sounded like the news was grim at best. does anyone know any more ? is this kind of turn around normal or has she made tremendous progress in this last month ? i stopped following after i saw that tweet about her goal to reach Christmas it made me pretty sad ..but apparently after that her condition really started to improve :D
I have it from a reliable source that she got some really good news around Christmas time. She is doing a lot of natural type treatments, and it seems to be working tremendously. Her fiancé and her are no longer together, she hasn't said anything about it on her twitter though, she's taking the higher road. She's obviously still sick, I've seen her on cam and she is incredibly petite, even more so than before. She is using a walker now to get around, as well. Her MFC profile says she is down to 85 pounds, and she is wearing a wig. Knowing that she has two kids though, and that she is single now, it makes sense that she would have to do something to bring in an income. Let's continue to cross our fingers for her.

^^^It's great news to hear Raven is doing so much better. I was posting here often updating her condition from her posts on Twitter. Recently she has blocked her account to only approved followers. I personally do not have a Twitter account and for that matter a Facebook account as I do not trust their confidentiality. I still would love to follow her progress and offer her my full support if someone would be so kind to occasionally post updates at this thread The last two of Raven's released features; "Nude Content" and "Two of a Kind" have really showcased he beauty and her talent. That is great news. But 85 lb is pretty darn skinny. Hopefully she'll continue to improve, and stay strong. It's great the way she's tackled this and refused to give in. Inspirational, and very brave.

Depending on what her specific diagnosis is, she may qualify for Social Security disability or SSI benefits. But it takes time to go through the application process, she might have to go through appeals if her application is initially denied, and the benefits themselves are pretty miserly.

I'm just reading this for the first time and can't believe she has brain cancer. I started following Raven Alexis early on, but didn't see her for a while. Brain cancer is horrible and no one should have to suffer it. It just shows how strong she is and her strength and willpower is as powerful as her beauty. I really hope she has a good medical team to help her. I hope she is living as long and as high quality of life as she can. She is in my thoughts. Well, this could explain how someone has advanced stage four brain cancer one minute and the next on cam making money. I don't want to jump to conclusions but the pieces of her story are VERY fishy. Ever meet anyone with stage four BRAIN cancer on the verge of death? The chances of someone in that state of health would not be A OK a month later and fucking themselves on cam, needing money or not.. IF this does turn out to be true she would be the lowest piece of dirt to me.. Hopefully she didn't bullshit people about a fake illness, especially when people sent their hard earned money to make her feel better, etc. Let's all hope this is just talk...
I wouldn't wish any kind of cancer on anyone, particularly stage four cancer, so if Raven doesn't have brain cancer that is a good thing. But I would hope that she hasn't been playing us for suckers. That would be unconscionable.
If it is true, then breathe a sigh of relief that Raven is not sick. But then boycott her for such a despicable act. That would be absolutely deplorable. If it is true, than I have no sympathy for Dirt Junior either, as he was talking about buying her wigs and encouraging people to donate to the charity in her name.
As far as I can see, the story picked up steam when Raven started advertising herself on hooker websites a week or so ago - so I can see two likely narratives: 1) Raven had cancer, her boyfriend left her, and she is now escorting to pay what I can only assume are massive health care bills 2) Raven faked cancer, asked for money from fans, her boyfriend found about it and left her, and she is now escorting to get even more money It's also possible that 'Dirt Junior' was initially on board with the scam and only left later, or for some other reason, though that seems less likely after skimming those screencaps (I saw a recent pic of Raven where she has short hair, so 'DJ' did go out and buy wigs during the time frame). Looks like one of those situations where there's no good answer, though I'm certainly watching to see the resolution.
^ For some reason, I tend to believe she has cancer. Keep in mind that if she does have brain cancer, then some behavioral changes are likely. She may have engaged in other kinds of erratic behavior which upset DJ.
She NEVER asked for money from fans; all donations were to be direclty sent to St. Jude Children's Hospital, not to her. And the toy drive they collected during this last xmas was also donated to the hospital. Everything else, i'm still clueless as well.
It is also possible that Raven has brain cancer, but that it is either responding to treatment, or it's in spontaneous remission (exceedingly rare, on the order of the Miraculous but possible), or maybe it's Cancer but not stage 4. It's hard to know, and ex boyfriends are generally not a great source of information about girls. There's too much bias.

I'm thinking #2 is more likely. Because late last year everyone thought the end was possibly near, then she miraculously starts looking much better, her bf leaves her mysteriously, she starts doing cam work, and now she's escorting. And if he's being rather evasive about what's going on then he possibly played along with the scam initially and doesn't want to out her lest he admit his own involvement. In any case the whole thing is rather odd.
I think i found the missing link to Raven's new occupation: after the breakup in January, Raven moved into Veronica Avluv & husband house (moved out last week). They are both sheduled to "tour" to NY early March (same dates).
I want to see the good in all people. But often, people u look at and prove they want to hurt u. With this i need to take it @ face value with the info on cancer, i will believe that she has had it; i thought that at the end of this post i was going to find she had passed away, in light of the fact that stage 4 not being able to operate on, is in fact a death sentence. Having dropped to 85 pounds is bad, very bad. I have not seen her like this and would not expect one to be posted. There are variables in this that is making the truth to be questioned by alot of people. Based on the fact that all donations went to the kids, it does not appear to be a false claim to get funds. I wish to heck we had a reliable source that we could get answers from to get rid of the 'Is this being faked', i do not care about anything other than she is a human being that should not suffer. Iam going with the image she is not faking , has escaped death barely. I want her to be ok, as so many good people out here have expressed the same. I have been thinking about mailing a card to her. Can Bill Margold be called to ask what is going on? I hear he has alot of industry knowdlege, doesn't he? There's an awful lot of speculation here and a vengeful ex is hardly the best source of information, especially when he's just spreading rumors. Raven has a lot of friends in the industry who would have had to go along with this in order for it to be a scam and as another poster pointed out, what kind of scam is it? All she did was ask for donations to a hospital, not to any kind of personal account. She deserves the benefit of the doubt and not any assumptions that rumors are true.
I am posting in this topic simply because i think it is the most interesting thing going on right now in the porn business. I tend to be on the pessimistic side and believe that there is a hidden truth to this all. What i find hard to believe is the fact that she recovered from cancer of the BRAIN, now im no expert but it seems to me like that is the worst form to have. I wish i knew whether the tumor was malignant or not, but still think the only treatment would be chemotherapy. A treatment which causes anemia, loss of appetite, hair loss, changes in bowel & bladder function, and leaves you prone to infection. Hard to believe someone in this state could be masturbating over the internet.
I'm not sure what the story here is. Regarding FinFanMike's accurate observation of the brutal side effects of chemo, I'd add this caveat: If she's terminal stage 4, then the normal course of action would be to suspend chemo in favor of palliative care; one which would put the emphasis on remaining quality of life rather than massively invasive treatment.
