couple things. when i started out i found it important to see want my significant other was approving of. there's an entirely different array of sizes, colors, and shapes. if you've started the shopping process, you've seen that designers think quite differently. almost makes you wonder want the hell is suppose to be happening with sometimes.
kind of like that one with the small beads that move around in some creature thing mounted at the base of it, $50.00 for that one
my girlfriend and i started small with a vibrator bullet (2 AA batteries) and we were happy for years. we bounded with the ease and non-phallic look of the bullets. mistakely we moved into the bullets that use 3 AA batteries, and after that, you never go back. i've never tired a plug in, and frankly i'm scared of them.
so my opinion is to start small with a convient almost non-sexual looking little fellow, and stay there as long as you feel comfortable. lastly don't buy it thinking its going to last a couple years. the darn little things are made pretty cheap.
i hope that helps a little bit
i'm an adam & eve shopper for those things. your local novelty shop, normally likes to make a couple extra bucks of you.
