I never bought an RLD DVD so I was reading the Assault that Ass DVD review today and saw that it had 37 minutes of 16-20 trailers on it. Is this really true because that is beautiful stuff, it's great to see a variety a trailers so you have a mindset before you buy a DVD.

It's great to a point, the point that if you watch more than one RLD DVD in any given release cycle you see the same trailers again and again. They could do more interesting things with the time.

I like the idea of SOME trailers; I think RLD could be more selective: Fewer trailers but better ones.

Also, while Selena frowns on the bonus material on this disc, I have to say that I've found RLD to have excellent bonus material on SOME titles. The POV BJ scenes, esp. in David Luger's movies, are really great -- often better than any scenes in the actual movie. I find this often to be the case: The highlight scene is in the "Boner Footage." This is so routine, I think RLD ought to compile a Boner Footage DVD.

The "behind the scenes" stuff is, generally, pretty blah. Not nearly as cool as some stuff I've seen from other companies ("Back2Evil" had great behind the scenes stuff; I bet Evolution does, too). Though I have liked the "casting call" scenes from some of the Canadian and Euro trips for various titles. For me, "Swallow My Pride" had pretty good supplements, though.

Well, Dion, there ya go. My thoughts on BONUS.

RLD has the trailers as part of the Extras for
all those new customers/viewers who just picked
up their DVD or two for the first time & they can
check all the trailers for their next rentals/purchases.

But I do agree more Bonus & Behind The Scenes
footage would be GREAT!

All My movies contian full lenght bonus scenes, and little if any trialers. there is usually no room as I also make extended directors cuts for the dvd to take advantage of the extra time not available on vhs. the freedom of the dvd format is great.I choose to exclude trailers uless theres left over time.I feel the viewer gets more that way.

Yep. That's the way to go.
