So there will be a period where things aren't done so well (in comparison). But, if the directors listen to feedback, hopefully they will see what they missed in previous efforts and make the adjustments. I think time will bear this to be true. This flood and glut, and the sheer volume of the "new" releases, has destroyed the porn business partly and many customers has lost interest. I especially saw this in Germany, many video store/sex shop owners didnt sort the titles anymore, because of the high volumes put out. So if you search for a WICKED movie, you have to work yourself through Hundreds, maybe thousands of these standard-everytime-the-same porn. Many dont want to do this and they never visit this shop again and turn to a regular video store, who only has 100 porn movies, but a dozen good ones. I have nothing against Red Light and his brothers, these movies have a market and they deserve to be there, but the output was much too high. I think they only cut off their profit margin with this. And I have too disagree strongly, that there is NO market for high budget productions, look at "PIRATE" and all the other high budget movies, they sell like hell, or the recenct remakes of classics. I think more women should direct movies, most of these movies have fresh ideas and are entertaining for males AND females. [Link] |

In one scene the girl is riding the guy reverse cowgirl on the couch. The cameraguy shows the POV view of the girls back and ass from the perspective of the guy sitting on the couch. Then out of nowhere, the cameraguy gets up and walks around to the FRONT of the girl, showing the guy's face and body in frame fucking her, completely ruining the POV element. And to make things worst, they had a lot of angles under the guys ass with a close-up on penetration as a POV angle. Most guys don't want to watch a POV dvd with the guy's ass in frame behind the girls ass. After watching this Amateur POV 2 dvd and seeing all the other bad reviews from others on this Amateur District line, I don't plan on watching anything else in the line. They are cut from my circle of trust!! LOVE: I recently reviewed Twisted Vision 5, which coincidently is also a POV title from RLD. And as Porn Scout said in his review of the Rebecca Linares scene from Twisted Vision 5.."This is a really, really good scene". It's like you have to take a double take like Lewis Black "wa wa what?" How can they get it so wrong in one and so right in another. So I'd say I'm on the fence with RLD right now. I keep trying their stuff out hoping to find a real gem. And sometimes I do, sometimes I don't. A lot is average, a lot is cookie cutter, but then again so is most porn out there. When you put out as much porn as they do, you aren't going to please everyone. But like Mr. Pete said, you have to buy what you like and avoid what you don't. So far I've enjoyed the Twisted Vision series and never miss a release. Personally I would like to see a change at RLD. But the terrible glut on the shelves, 99% of these movies are uninteresting, appalling and low-level for the "normal" ( not porn fanatic ) women.
