Everybody has this problem. You press a command on your remote control and nothing happens. Then you bang it on your hand and it works. Take the batteries out and scratch the metal contacts with a screwdriver. Spray a little WD-40 on a Q-tip and paint the electrodes. Replace batteries and send me a dollar.
depending how advanced the remote is, i'd go with some isopropyl alcohol or similar contact cleaner for electronics. if it's got tangible rubber buttons, you should be fine-i'd be hesitant to crack open a pronto or something and wouldn't put wd-40 on it..
Naaah, just use an ordinary pencil eraser to remove the buildup from the battery contacts. You don't need WD-40. Also, when you insert new batteries, you should use a rough cloth on the battery contacts before installation.
This is standard advice for pretty much all battery-powered consumer electronics.
for sure... classic episode. When that show is on it is unbelievable.
Donuts... Is there anything they can't do?
