So 1=$5.00, 2=$7.50, 3-$12.50, 4=$15.00, etc. They also rent DVD's for $5.00. Offically there is no half price deal for DVD's, but they usually make an exception for me. This store is owned by a distributor, so they get new releases daily and have a great selection The store that I go to the second most charges $5.00 per tape (tax included). No discounts, no DVD's. I go to this store because they also get new releases often and carry a few lines that the first store doesn't The next two stores both charge $3.99 per tape. Neither of them get movies as often as the other two. however, they both get a line or two that the others don't carry. Both of them have Rent 2 get one free specials on given days of the week.

Half the store is vhs the other half is dvd you can also order dvds at the store at a reasonable price almost all the other stores don't rent porn which is kind of odd since their is three strip clubs not to far from the vid shops. |

Some stores have "memberships" where you pay annual or semi-annual fee and get discounts on these prices. For instance $25 for six months might save you 50% off that price. Although it's somewhat annoying to pay a membership, it is worth it for frequent renters. One store around here recently made what I consider to be a lame brained decision. No more DVD rentals! They said the DVDs were not as durable as VHS. -- Snowman |

And yet another store is 5 titles (new/old and VHS/DVD, doesn't matter) for 9 Euro for 7 days. No wonder I never buy and only rent. |

| Manetho71 Member 185 Posts 9/02 | As for the short rental period, I agree with that too. It would actually be 26 hours if I rented at 10PM. I try to get around it by renting shortly after midnight. I'm usually up anyway. That way I have almost 48 hours before it's due. |
