Here's a suggestion to replace what some people regard as a problematic category. Instead of the IR category why not have a 'Large Penis' catergory which you can further acronym label into things like BC BBC BWC BYC ect. For a girl who is career banking dick size can replace the implied black phenotype cause let's be honest, in this crude industry black men are synonymous with big dicks. home in on the latter and stop using the problematic former which, among other things, devalues black women. There can even be an objective standard of measurement for what a big dick would be. I say 13 inches(7.5/5.5) should be the entry level for a large penis that nets the bigger pay. It would still work out to mostly black men in the industry by default but the problematic segregation would no longer be in effect. Think such and such does her first BC/BBC ect. Through this black women will be able to career plan as well.
^While I find your suggestion somewhat intriguing. If you think that it's a solution to the problem of IR in porn than you have missed the point. Penis size is not the problem but the color of said penis. Aside from the obvious problem of creating some kind of penis size measuring system. The reason people watch IR porn is because it involves performers of different skin color having sex together. The same way that when a performer says she will not work with black male performers. It does not mean that she has an issue with the size of his dick but that he happens to be black. I don't think if she knew that his dick was average that she would be more willing to work with that male performer.

It's not THE solution obviously, the solution is multifaceted and would happen over time. What getting rid of the IR category would do is take away the pay up option for doing black men. I don't see the problem with measuring. The problem with porn is their non accurate measurements on penis size. This would be an imputes to have more profession standards of measurement, it would not be the people on LPSG trying to guestimate. IR porn really revolves around black on white male on female and BBC is the basic draw of it, as I said just make it about the big cock and pluralize the phenotypes. It would still default to mostly black but they would no longer be essentialized as THE racial group with the big D. Racist gonna racist, that problem will solve itself over time, my basic idea is no longer putting black men in a must be big box because again BBC pretty much goes with IR. It would mean that BWC and the rare pokemon BYC would also be there and this would help to make the game fairer for black women who are basically segregated and never in a position to win the big POTY awards.
There would still be a demand for seeing a performer work with black male talent for the first time, producers would still make more money for said scene, so female talent would still ask for more money to shoot said scene. Getting rid of the label of IR wouldn't change any of that, really. While the appeal of it for you is just the bigger dicks, that's not the case for a lot of people for a number of reasons.
Trenchcoatx.com doesn't tag their scenes with e.g. Stallion Strong or Mickey Mod with white females as IR, to name an example... But they obviously have a tagging system and approach that is different in general from the usual porn sites (in that sense, they are not "mainstream"). Obviously they also cater to a different kind of audience with that.

It's a stupid title for a category of porn, as if asian women with white men isnt 'interracial', or asian men with latin women. Just call it what it is, 'BMFWOAROTBW' 'black men fucking women of any race other than black women' sort of rolls off the tongue doesnt it ? Edited by - jks1 on 3/28/2018 9:29:21 AM

3^The thing is you could simply turn that demand into working with a large cock for the first time which more often then not and at the biggest tends to be black. You can still feed that broad demand and women can still bank, just cut the IR crap out, not every black performer measures up and you devalue black women in the process while selectively valuing men. What's more I actually think money on the whole is being lost and full on demand is not being satiated. The trenchcoatx way is a preferable example. Also, yes jks1 that's euphemistically what 'IR' accounts to and it's holding greater sophisticated and integrated sexual media back. I'd actually like to see porn where different phenotypes were paired in a creative way. Think a mixed girl like Harley Dean in a bbg with a black guy and a white guy. Why isn't black and yellow a thing? These are all things that would make sense for differentiated phenotype pairings especially in a world that's becoming more multicultural everyday. It's those consumers of tomorrow that will ask these questions. You don't have to be some Disney PC marketer to see where things are going.
^ You can't "turn it into that" if that isn't someone's appeal to the genre in the first place. Some people like watching BM/WF porn because of the difference in color between the two performers (usually they'll call it the contrast). Some people just like seeing performers that look more like them in their scenes. Both of those types of people are going to explicitly be searching out BM/WF content and aren't just going to be looking for performers with a large dick, even if there is some overlap between the two genres.

^ I have no problem with contrast, I'm all for playing around with that(my example of black white and mulatto in the middle for instance). If anything the current biz model of porn prevents the full expression of that because of how white women bank their careers. The black/white model is geared primarily towards BBC as a tag. If it were just black on white then were are the non super sized brothas? There's more then just an overlap, BBC tends to be the draw in black/white pairing and that plays a role in how a woman(understandably) career banks her holes. To give a further example, think of big tit porn, that's it's own genre, you can have a genre of big dick porn that includes BBC which is what most who watch interracial are into anyway. Just put it under the umbrella of big dick porn with big dicks of all colors. This way black women can be properly contrasted and complimented as well. Edited by - Maxxx Stirner on 3/28/2018 1:19:38 PM
The contrast in colour sometimes is wonderful. Seeing Cadence Lux and Anya Olsen together sucking and rimming two men with dark slin is beautiful. However, as coming from Europe the idea that this has anything to do with "race" is for me a strange idea and feels dangerous. Mix colours, shapes, age, and much more in porn - but put the word "race" where it belongs, on the garbage heap of history.

I agree jm6d, race does not even make for a good social category let alone anything scientific. I'm all for being creative with different paired phenotypes but the essentializing of one in particular in the direction of endowed size is stultifying porn as well as creating unrealistic feedback loops into the real world. Large cock porn should be one thing with multiple colours(get some more Danny Ds and whatever Asian equivalents you can find) and interphenotypical pairing and complimentary color matching should be another thing(being black and of average porn size should not be a barrier).
Does anybody finds weird that regular straight guy should go search "big dicks" instead of iR? I mean what man would go find large penis instead of big breasts for example? Also some white guys out there in porn are larger than some black guys , I'm not putting names here but even I am larger than some. Also how about black women? I like many of them and there's a couple i'd prefer over almost whatever white chick , where I'm supposed to find those? Under "large cocks " categories'? also even though I have no problem with black on Black scenes I do actually prefer WM/BF scenes

What I find interesting is looking back at naughty era porn with the likes of Belladonna, Lauren Phoenix ect. It actually appears things have gotten worse in the teens. Lexington Steele won 3 POTY awards in a 4 year period(1999, 2002, 2003). There hasn't been a black male since who won as black men are much more selectively used for white female banking. I can recall more interracial(among the men) male on female gang bangs which included Lex. In other words there's actually been a one step backward in all this even though porn overall I think is improving beyond the US's racist sexist baggage. Of course there's never been a black female performer of the year(particularly of sub saharan phenotype). That's an indictment in itself. Porn needs some David Bowie lack of black mtv moments from some integral minded white women. Edited by - Maxxx Stirner on 4/14/2018 12:50:45 PM
^ You do understand that a POTY isn't given based on dick size do you? Mandingo , Flash and Dredd basically stay on a couch waiting fo the woman and then they do their thing most of the times they even have the woman do the stuff , it's most certainly to be conservative and avoid to hurt the woman , but still hardly a "performance" Lex can act, did and does lots of feature movies , doesn't play the same set up over and over he wasn't and isn't just "a black man with a big dick" I don't know whether Sean Michaels ever won a POTY , he sure deserved it in the past and should be should be given something for his career. Today maybe ricky Johnson has what it takes except popularity

^ I'm well aware of the POTY dynamics, what I'm saying is that Lex won those awards in a different time when the IR thing wasn't so stratifying. I wasn't uncommon to see him as part of a gang bang with the white boys for example. That's changed in today's porn for the worse.
^ I've always been iffy about that sentence. I get the general sentiment behind it (especially the fact that interracial generally only refers to scenes between black men and non-black women), but the existence of a label for scenes that feature black men is something that I think is worthwhile. I just wish the word wasn't that (and that it also encompassed more black on black porn, but I digress).

^ I don't mind a sub label like black on white, ebony/ivory pairing ect. I also don't mind the term BBC as it does reflect sexual reality to some degree though there should also be BWC and(where found) BYC. There is a certain amount of nonPC crudeness in porn that is fine so long as their no actual mean spirit or segregated logic behind it. I agree though that IR as a formal category should go. ^3 The fact is there hasn't been a Sub Saharan black performer who has won since Lex and while I could point to problems back then as well I don't think porn was as segregating in the naughties as now. Of course as must constantly be pointed out there's yet to be a ss black female poty. I'll give it another 34 years at this point.
Let's just talk real who should have won? The POTY is usually someone with outstanding performances or very diverse abilities Lex for example can act . Is there any black equivalent to Rocco or Manuel? BBC does not reflect sexual reality, it's a stereotype , I really urge you to watch some actual amateur sex with black men in it and although some are very big , a lot of them aren't. Even in porn there are some who I doubt are bigger than mine (It's 7") and certainly some of the non black performers are in the same league as them BTW even if you have say an average of 8" among black people that means that for any given 10 you must have a 6 , for any 9" you must ave a 7" for any Mandingo you must have a 4" so BBC doesn't reflect any actual sexual reality as you put unless you add "porn" to reality , and it isn't true even there Edited by - LCF on 4/20/2018 4:55:10 PM
^^ One of the problems is that Black male performers, by and large, aren't actually given the chance to show that they can act in large scale productions, because they aren't cast in them as leads. Feature porn is still pretty much the whitest type of porn around. For example Isiah Maxwell has done pretty well in pretty much all of the vignette style scenes I've seen him in, but I think I've only seen him cast a lead once or twice in a production, and both times have been productions explicitly focused on race. It's hard to show "diverse abilities" when the only thing you ever get cast for is the role of the big black cock.

^^^Can't say that I have a problem with producers catering to consumer fantasies in their titles, but if a producer is uncomfortable with acknowledging certain fantasies when they title their products then I'm fine with that too.
^ But filming a performer for a themed movie without telling them (and/or without telling them what you're gonna title it) is a shitty thing to do. Sure, they don't have to, but these are performers that are going to have their names and faces on this product, so letting them know what the product is should just be good business practice. I'm reminded of how Siri used to get upset when she'd do movies and then find out that they were labeling/packaging them as BBW movies.
I'll never understand why some people are so bothered by this when it comes to porn. We all know that in the real world interracial means. But porn isn't the real world and isn't a reflection of the real world. Porn is fantasy and fetishes. Many of those fantasies and fetishes are stereotypical and un-politically correct. Why be so opposed to that un-political correctness when it comes to race but nothing else? In the real world it's not okay to lust after and molest schoolgirls/teens yet it's perfectly fine in porn. It's not okay to refer to women as "whores" "sluts" "cunts" in the real world yet perfectly acceptable in porn. Not right to view women only as sex objects in the real world but encouraged in porn. Totally not cool for a guy to have sex with a woman and slap/hit/spit on her and not care if she's enjoying it in real life but in porn it's common. The incredible double standard of "Oh, those bad things are fine but this bad thing I don't like needs to stop!". The IR label works just fine because it's a marketing tool that makes it easy for people who like seeing black/nonblack sex to find what they're looking for. If a person specifically wants to watch Black/nonblack sex why should they have to or want to sift through Asian/white, Latino/white, Latino/Asian, German/white, or any of the many combinations that could be labeled as IR? With porn everyone knows what IR means so you understand what your getting even though it doesn't reflect the real world meaning. If a person is into Latinos then those scenes/movies should be labeled to make it easy to find as well. Yeah, the races are lumped together because so many girls are mixed and not 100% Chinese, Japanese, Korean, or whatever and most viewers don't care and as long that girl looks the part. As a porn consumer most porn fans can easily find what they want and that's the whole point of the labeling system...not to be politically correct. There would be far, far more people complaining if they had trouble finding their particular fetish than people complaining about porn being politically correct in it's labeling.
From what I can tell the majority of black male performers are hired because of penis size moreso than anything else. Why? Because it seems that's what's most important to a large segment of the audience (at least for Gonzo fans). It's much more common for a white male performer to have an average sized penis and get in based on performance skills, good looks, acting abilty, charisma, or whatever. So that means the white already has an advantage over his black male counterpart. Plus the vast majority of features tend to star mostly white performers...just like in Hollywood movies, tv, video games, novels, etc...When it comes to black males it seems fans want the biggest penis regardless of acting, looks, or even performance abilities. Are Mandingo, Diesel, and Dredd getting so much work because they are great actors and the best performers out there? No. It's because they're big. Every time a girl starts doing IR and fans start naming who they want to see them with 95% percent of the time they start naming the biggest black guys. When fans start naming what white guy they want to se a girl with they name who they think are the best performers. So in my mind the awards shows kind of reflect the realities of porn when it comes to black performers. Black performers have done plenty of great performances but the many of them are starring in scenes where penis size is the most important thing and not much else.

If a director knows that they are shooting someone for a themed film they should be up front with the talent. In cases in which a title has been selected before a scene is shot, sure, talent should be informed. But scene titles will differ from movie titles, and I imagine that in many cases titles are chosen late in the process. Then there are the titles of future compilations.

^Personally, I can't think of a simpler term that identifies what's being sold. You wrote earlier:
Many IR consumers in the US don't just want to see a dark skinned man with a non dark skinned woman. They want to see a black man with a non-black woman. Recognizable black African descent is often part of the appeal in the US (and Japan). EDIT: I added the word "term" to the opening sentence, which I forgot to do initially. Edited by - misspornUSA on 4/22/2018 6:41:50 PM
But then why use words relating to "race"? Quoting an article found on the internet: "Using the two most commonly used biological concepts of race, chimpanzees are indeed subdivided into races but humans are not." "Humans are an amazingly diverse species, but this diversity is not due to a finite number of subtypes or races. Rather, the vast majority of human genetic diversity reflects local adaptations and, most of all, our individual uniqueness." Templeton, Alan: Biological Races in Humans Why then use such words? Why let racists think that they are on to something?
How about Interethnic? but the real problem is that many and ESPECIALLY the IR fans tend to give it excusively to BM/WF or other Women , I personally discusse a ton here on ADT trying to convey the concept that it shouldn't be , on Blacked or Dogfart either Topics or the comments on the site , whenever a black woman appeared many protested , to them interracial is only BM/WF BW/WM is not IR , I remember when they launched "We fuck Black girls2 many were literally enraged:, this is supposed to be an Interracial site what any black woman has to do with that? Saqme at Blacked the few scenes with black women have encountered opposition " I came her to see Interracial , and this means A big black dick buried so deep to get into a White woman womb" *PS I simplified mixing concepts made on several posts over there So even for many black men , IR is a category to get rid of , but not really Edited by - LCF on 4/23/2018 9:11:22 AM

^I've considered that, but how is it pc (or reasonable) to imply that blackness is an ethnicity? Interethnic is just as problematic a term as what it would be replacing. I doubt that consumer demand will ever dictate that BF/WM scenes be collectively included in the IR category.

Interphenotype might be technically more congruent though somewhat wordy.

Interesting approach, but it will not happen. Because porn is no political correct environment. For example why is money shot standard? Because it is to humiliate the actress. The same with DP: DP is not about sensual nice sex, it is about using all of a woman's orifices at once (objectification of women). However, every porn consumer is keen about the cumshot and is happy when a girl does DP. The same political incorrectness applies for IR. Yes it deals with racism! Like a poor white girl gets IR gang banged or a posh girl gets fucked by a black below her stand. Sad to say, but those IR sex is just a sort of how to humiliate the woman. It should not be that way and it is not political correct, but it is like it is. Therefore, naming IR differently will not solve the problem. Which is that the porn consumer will always look out for blacks fucking whites because he wants to see the humiliation of a white, desirable actress. He is not interested in the size of the dick at all!

^ I don't think that porn as a pc incorrect sphere entails what you think it does. The money shot was not made to humiliate the actress and some like the visual look of it. You'll find amateurs semi-pros and pros on pornhub that take facials. It was invented for a camera affect not female humiliation. Human orifices(not just women) are nice looking things that have been obsessively visualized before cameras for aesthetic and arousing reasons. Yes there is the element of the desired white woman that comes out of white supremacy and preference, but there is a fetish and visual appeal beyond those problematics. Ironically the current model does not allow those encounters to happen more often. Really it's doing IR differently as much as naming it differently. On the whole I like that porn is a non PC refuge, really I don't want that to change, but it's also been a force against human segregation logic. IR has actually been positive in this regard. It's time to be more integral with sexual media which I don't see as a PC thing per se.
I would love to see the IR category go away, however, even if one was successful at removing it, the people looking for IR scenes would just find a new labeling for IR scenes. Not only do I think that the classification is racist but I think that it harms black performers in the industry. Who is going to hire a black male to be the lead in a feature adult movie when you then have to shell out extra money to every actress that performs with him because the scenes are IR, even if they aren't actually IR scenes but just the standard scenes in a feature. At the current time, black actors and actresses are treated more as a niche or side show unlike their counterpart white peers. Until we find a way to change this black actors and actresses are going to continue to struggle in the industry which is honestly shameful at this point in time. And to the person who thinks that adult movies exist for the humiliation of women, you really need to rethink your views.

^2 You and I are on the same page particularly regarding the harm it causes black performers. When you are taking about change of course change goes both ways societal and insular(porn world). I think there are things porn can do to start this starting with performers, producers/directors and agents respectively. One of the things that should happen is the emergence of some type of sexual media organization that has integration as part of it's mission. A counter to AVN and other trade show focused orgs. Perhaps this hypothetical org could have it's own award show and standards that are not based of US racist segregated baggage. Something like the feminist porn awards but more general and not so ideologically narrow(though I like what they brought to the table). That Lord LTD is a real piece of work btw(he's been letting me have it in the PM box). He's one of those repressed racist IR porn viewers which is part of the problem with 'IR' and the type of people it attracts. It's basically a niche audience(which includes the Davina Davis types) that prevents a more general healthy industry from flourishing.
The issue is it's not a debate , it's not a party it's a product with customers buying exactly that, and only that, lots of so called "Ir fans" only watch IR scene and only Black Male/White Female scenes So whatever you do you have to make sure you put in the label of the product you sell that there's a black man fucking a white female , so you have to come up with something that says that without actually saying that Or You understand it's a marketing label in a porn movie Edited by - LCF on 4/26/2018 4:51:23 PM

^ Again though there's ways to do that without a formal category. You can simply use catchy sub-category titles like ebony/ivory or what dogfart does with zebra girls. There's numerous ways you can label the fetish without creating a formal non definitionally correct segregating term. Black on white is not a bad label in and of itself, it's how it's being done in regards to being tied to white/non black girl porn career advancement.
I don't understand how changing the name of a category will suddenly change the way blacks are treated in the porn biz. Maybe I misunderstand what you wrote but how is not having the term "IR" going to change the audience's views, their desire to see it, the effect it has on sales, sites devoted to it, the way porn girls treat it, etc...? Calling IR something else would change a girl's mind about having sex with a black guy?
^ You misunderstood what I wrote. I was saying that if the IR category was ever successfully removed that people looking for IR would just create a new label for it. In other words, the category is here to stay.
