In response to questions I've seen in the past, I put together an article concerning issues with the use of non-enhanced 1.66:1 aspect ratio material on widescreen displays. I would be interested in hearing opinions on it, especially technical critiques (I hate posting faulty information). However I liked the article particularly because you included shots of the differences, and you could see the difference in resolutions, or in some cases the cropping of the picture that may occur.
