| Saki At-Large 2087 Posts 11/99 | If there were significant changes (and there aren't in this case), the responsiblity lies with the studio. This happens all of the time in the mainstream world. For example, might release a bare-bones DVD release, followed by a special edition later on. No store is going to refund your money back simply on the basis that there's a "better" version available from the studio. All stores should accept returns if the disc is truly defective, but it's unreasonable to expect them to give you your money back if you aren't satisified with the movie. | Mastersense Member New York 16 Posts 2/00 | My take on the situation, the re-mastering had to be re-done because PLAYMATE is on the DVD itself. Most of the e-commerce sites will be okay as long as they don't advertise it as a new release or a re- release. We should all keep watch on these studios little mistakes. Studios are too much in a hurry. Do things right the first time around. |
