I thought the whole idea behind "retiring" from porn was to get OUT of the public eye, not remain in it or make info accessible to psychos/stalkers/serial rapists aka "fans" who may use said info to track them down. I don't think you'll have much luck finding such a site or many willing retirees to participate in one.
Is there really that much of that going on? I mean, I know a lot of porn stars simply drop out of sight for no apparent reason. I guess I never really considered that some rabid fans could really freak them out.
Not to change the subject much - I always figured that if the folks wanted to disappear they were entitled to it - but does anybody have any favorite "last hurrahs": titles where the departing star gave a final performance? Or comebacks that didn't quite take? I would be very interested in comparing actresses in their heyday with later versions....
To give Caviesxxx the benefit of the doubt....maybe he was interested in retired porn stars that have retired from the PORN BIZ but maybe are still working in the sex biz in some capacity (directing, entrepeneur, dancing, escorting, etc.) Hell, I'd be interested in those that stars and starlets that don't care if people know what they're doing now. I remember for a while Nyrobi Knight was dancing after leaving the biz....maybe she still is. On the other hand someone like Tammy Ann supposedly works a regular 9-5 and doesn't want to talk about it.....and THAT should be respected. Maybe PLAYBOY CHANNEL or someone can do a "WHERE ARE THEY NOW?" or "CATCHING UP WITH..." type of show like they do with music groups. And just like the music groups if they decline the interview so be it. The viewer never has to know.
I think generally if you want to find retired porn stars, you should just buy a house in LA. I am sure like 3% of the real estate agents are retired porn stars by now.
I seems some of them return and do some kind of movies they didnt do before (desparation) or they actually return and do the same as they did when they left. Then there are the third group who just quit once and for all
I understand what you're thinking, but there are two reasons I can think of why your post is difficult to reply to.
(1) Most pornstars just stop making movies--without a "farewell" performance. Although I remember Ashlyn Gere in the 1990s having some kind of Last Movie, I can't remember the name. The closest Farewell that comes to mind is Vivid Girl Jenteal did "WTBA #12 & #13" one of which was centered around her getting married (in real life) and getting together for sort of a Bachelorette Party with the other girls. These videos turned out becoming her farewell to porn. She got married, had twins, and never came back to porn. As for her looks, IMO Jenteal looked just as good (if not better) in those last two sexvids as she did when she entered the biz about six years prior. Even though, when she exited the biz, she had implants and had gained some weight (How's that for a difference...a porn girl healthy enough that she gains weight during her career, not lose pounds like a skeleton).
(2) It's difficult to tell what sexvid is the farewell or final performance. Some companies (especially Vivid) keep scenes, or entire videos on the shelf for months or years. Examples, Vivid released "Janine's Been Blackmaled" over a year after Janine left them for Digital Playground--AND retired from working after turning out several videos for DP. Currently, Vivid is about to release "Where The Boys Aren't #18" starrring (among others) retired pornstars Lexie Marie and Tawny Roberts. Since Lexie stopped working in the Summer of 2005 there have been several Lexie releases from Vivid (she did one gonzo after leaving them), and Club Jenna has also released scenes with both (2005 retiree) Tawny & Lexie after they stopped working in the biz.
