At that point, I expect that a number of posters will exclaim "Oh yeah, I was wondering when they would get around to this" while another group will say "We've really just begun to stretch the envelope here." jamesnadt Deactivated User cambridge, ma 152 Posts 2/06	Posted - Apr 4 2006 : 3:48PM whatever, people want to pay chicks a grand to do horribly-medical, stupid things to them. people are fucked-up and want to see the homosexual rage of ben english beating some chick as if doing that to be distributed widely on film is somehow the apogee of masculinity. if some already-weird adult really wants pap-smear/scat/shitbeating-fusion in their sex is really one of the more disturbing things about the moral understanding of our society, i think we're in good shape. it wasn't very long ago you could own black people and trade your daughter for oxen and it was cool to beat your wife and kids. cicero freaked out a lot about moral decay and the times and morals and how fucked-up people today are. he ended up having his hands chopped off to display alongside his head and toungue with pins stuck in it in the rostra. things get better until we end up nuking ourselves, making girls puke is still more moral than honor-killings or ritually slicing their vaginas up. yeah, porn's retarded and caters to the damaged in some of the more extreme stuff-but chances are the people buying it at 38 weren't totally-corrupted by it to think it's cool enough to buy in the first place. i'd rather see witch-trials than double-anal or max's shit personally, but if beating off to it's the worst stuff the majority of the viewers do with regularity, that's remarkable moral progress in half a century. jamesnadt Deactivated User cambridge, ma 152 Posts 2/06	Posted - Apr 4 2006 : 7:39PM 1-i say stuff, i think it's weird a guy with the video of him floating around engaged in a sexual act with a man seems to be as rough with women physically on film and generally accepted as domineering but able to get his models to shoots in his business. it's not exactly unprecedented-behavior from someone with unresolved sexual issues to be wonderful to women. 2-you don't like my examples of how i don't see cause to scream "o tempora, o mores!" if an industry always flirting with the fringes of vice and legality takes a weird-twist. people like watching joe theismann's ankle snap and war movies. some don't, but it's not like it's indicative of some sinister-undercurrent in society in comparison to what's been totally-acceptable and far more horrible in the past and currently practiced in some parts of the world. generally, every time you hear someone concerned about moral decay it's nonsense on a bigger picture. it's not like berthe milton and the guys who shot women with animals on old loops were any more or less-twisted, it's just there's more porn, it's legal, and people talk about it on the internet.
