| smaskens Member Europe 35 Posts 9/02 | My girlfriend has the most wonderful, big, round butt, and I can't get enough of playing with it. I'm especially turned on by licking her asshole, and she enjoys it too. Now, here's what I'm wondering.... I keep reading in different places that analingus is risky and that you can get all sorts of nasty things like parasites, hepatitis, and evil germs from the colon. It's not sexy reading. Do these things live in healthy people? They kinda make it sound like it. Do I need to worry about getting sick? We're talking a monogamous relationship and hygienic people here. Thanks for any advice/exprience. [Link] |

| smaskens Member Europe 35 Posts 9/02 | Thanks for the link too, YogaGrrl. It was nice reading, but unfortunately like the other things I've read a little ambigious. From the article: This makes it sound like you can get hepatitis A from anyone, but the others only from someone who is sick. That is not what the medical sites say about hepatatis A though (from contact with an infected person's feces...). It doesn't mention parasites or bacteria at all. What I still want to know is if there are any problems between two healthy people. Does anybody else do this? What's your philosophy on it? Thanks. Just some food for thought - Hepatitis A is a highly contagious virus that attacks the liver, for which there is currently no treatment. The virus is transmitted mainly by the fecal-oral route. There are approximately 143,000 HAV infections in the United States each year. The incubation period for hepatitis A ranges from 20 to 50 days , which means that infectious patients can spread the disease well before they are even aware they have it. There's also E-coli bacteria that live in every healthy person's booty, which can cause kidney infections. Not so much around the sphincter, further in. Penis ass to mouth I would categorically advise against. Rimming less risky, but still.... |

In addition to the incubation period that Blondie mentioned, some people with the hepatitis A disease display no symptoms. So even though you may believe that you and your partner are healthy, there is a chance that one or both of you is a carrier. I agree with Blondie that "ass to mouth" probably carries significantly more risk than rimming. |

Anyway, since ass to mouth and stuff like that was brought up.... I don't find that appealing... But what is the deal with the porn stars? Have they been cleaned in some magic way or is it just a risk they "chose" to live with? |
