i'll vouch for everything i've seen from iriver. i've got a 60gb ipod video and and a 20gb version 2 ipod sitting around collecting dust because of their ihp-140 series which still hasn't been approached by apple or anyone, really. they make good shit with the best batteries out there and not a lot of bloat on interface-i just use both of mine like a HD, nothing proprietary past installing a driver.
