Just watched this DVD and am really ticked off. Half the movie is unwatchable due to crap lighting. In the scene with the 2 black girls, all you could see were eyeballs and teeth, and I'm not exagerrating.
The problem has nothing to do with PAL/NTSC, but pure ignorance.
Also Rocco, stop the childish hockers.
I will say that the extra scene with Jewel was how A2M SHOULD be done.

I have to agree about the bad lighting in this video. Most of the film was shot outdoors in extremely contrasty light. The Monique scene was shot indoors and the lighting was so bad, I couldn't tell what hole Manuel was fucking. If this is how Rocco intends to transition into retirement I think his videos are going to be a must to avoid without him in front of the camera. I was a little grossed out by Jewel's scene. Did Rocky feed her a steak before the shoot and tell her to skip the enema?

Animal Trainer 15 is a title that was authored by the company that has been causing problems with PXP discs. Not only does the chroma shift cause the "halo" effect, it also makes the color more muted than it should be.

I'm not saying that the lighting was great. But the picture was certainly not helped by the chroma shift problem.

I have seen the halo problem in PXP's disks and heard that it was a problem on this one. I didn't catch the problem here. The use of light was terrible. Filming outside during bright sunlight and long shadows with no attempt at all to fill or reflect just obscured the details. Inside, there just wasn't enough light, nor was it evenly spread. I will grant you that Monique and Promise are dark skinned, making it more challenging, but they needed to open it up more. I'm not kidding when I say that I couldn't see that Manuel was screwing Monique up the ass. When John Leslie does this on purpose he gets excoriated for it. Rocco should get the criticism that he richly deserves.

The actual halos aren't nearly as apparent on this one as they are on other movies. But they are there from time to time (do a freeze frame when Monique is being photographed outside on the patio. Then look at her right leg and the white muttons in the door that are surrounded by black glass.
I'm not disagreeing with you. I'm just saying that the chroma problem made a bad situation even worse.

One thing I've noticed even on PXP's disks is that the halo was at it's worst when the lighting was insufficient. On some volumes there are scenes that are clearly plagued by the problem and other scenes where it was hardly noticeable. Muted coloring is usually caused by insufficient or badly balanced light.
