yes, we don't have a ton of performers who post here regularly; but those that do are highly appreciated by most. This is a place with a lot of people who actually pay for porn, and it is good to build that relationship versus tweeting with people who may never put a dime into your work. To see Romi, Riley, Angela White, Adrianna Checkik, AJ, and so forth talking to the fans every few days is a great part of the forum. It's not always pleasant for them here, but over all it has a great benefit to have that engagement and conversation. It also is a nice break from the sausage fest we usually have here as our great female posters GGG and misspornusa, sexy sadie, and a few others are small in number!

yeah, I said earlier in the thread, I can't see any other current performer nailing that like Romi. It was a brilliant choice by the director. Hell, it got me to buy my first Wicked feature in a long time.. lol I will repeat myself and say I hope they continue to do JL parody movies because I would love to see more of WW in porn.

Shes done everything one can do to win a POTY. And she is a POTY without question based on who she is and what she does. I look at her as a "pornstar's pornstar" if you know what I mean. She has that hard to find mix of stand out beauty, physical presence, charisma, articulate speaking, and humble demeanor. And that larger than life look that a mega star has with the curves and the hair and the looks and so forth. Like if porn were ever able to run commercials on mainstream TV advertising the industry, she is someone you would pick to do the speaking and representation of the industry. But , the industry only picks one. And people can call it politics or get angry or the girls can be sad, or whatever it is. The bottom line is these last 3 or 4 years have been absolutely stacked with women putting on top tier years and there are going to be at least a half dozen that could lay claim to being worthy of the award. The list for this year is going to be loaded with some women who have had career years and some who have put together years of work and have earned every bit of praise and it's just going to leave one person happy and 6 - 10 disappointed. Maybe my little idea will catch on one day :) Celebrating a trifecta of women each year in order to truly reflect the best of the year and era is a great evolution for where things are at right now. ^I feel Romi's versatility is one of her biggest draws as well. Just watch her interviews. She displays an incredible personality bolstered by her intelligible, classy manner. That goes a long way.

lol, happy to know you have time to be able to need more content.. hah.... I have to make some very hard cuts on what to watch in my porn time each week; even when focusing my time on 8 - 10 performers only. Thankfully I can mix some of my porn watching with intimate time with partners (Romi scenes are good for that, she is very inspiring to women to open up their sexuality), but i still have no where near the viewing time I wish I had :) but hey, its fun to know I haven't seen everything, so there is always a fresh scene to find if I have a half hour to spare. hah, i can only justify so many monthly memberships at a time. For example, I bought one month at analized so I could get the recent Checkik scene (which was off the charts amazing). I wish more sites allowed you to buy a single scene (for 8 bucks or whatever), they would get more business than only allowing 30 dollar a month memberships. then, a fan of a particular performer might come and buy the scene! That boxing one looks amazing, I want it. but its hard to justify buying a 30 dollar month for a site I will be highly unlikely to have time for in that 30 days. When Romi releases on Brazzers or Hardx or a released DVD, I am good, but when she is on another membership site it is hit and miss if I want to buy the site for a month or let it pass. Now, look, I don't want to get into a heated discussion here, but I have to express my utter bewilderment. 2018 POTY nominees come out. Now, I know everyone has their favorites, and I am not saying Romi should or should not be the POTY. I have my "big four" that I feel all have the best case that being Adrianna Chechik, Angela White, Riley Reid, and Romi Rain. Everyone will have their own group so I am not here to get too far into the debates. But jesus, when they nominate FIFTEEN performers, they don't have a spot for Romi Fucking Rain? She isn't considered in the "best 15" by whomever makes these nominees? Have they seen even a half dozen of her best scenes this year? Hell even the Wonder Woman deal has to have someone go "Hm... we better check her out more before making our choices". I just really don't understand that at all. I don't get worked up over who wins, because these days there are several women who have outstanding years each time. I even advocated some sort or peformerS of the year, so three can get the nod. But when you got 15 and she isn't in it after the year she is having I don't know what can possibly justify that. If anyone can explain to me one shred of reason why she can not even make a top 15 grouping I would love to hear it.

^ I agree with you 100%, Romi should have been nominated. I also think that Ashley Adams should have been at least nominated. There are about half a dozen names on that list that I would put both Romi and Ashley above.

See thats the thing with Romi. Some performers get their big name from particular sex acts, how far they push it, how extreme, etc. Romi carries a presence in even the most basic of scene and that is a rare commodity in porn. Yes, she has done hardcore scenes , and lots of anal and DP, but she is one of the types where she can knock you out even without all the porn "bells and whistles". She can wear a sexy dress at a 3 Star Michelin Restaurant and knock the room out with beauty and class just as much as going to a sexy porn party and wearing some crazy outfit.
