2257 is a weak excuse for not putting up trailers. You shoot a movie, you produce a trailer for the DVD, why not put it up an your website for your customers to view prior to release? Many other companies do.
Bad business in my opinion and it is one of the reasons I buy very few Zero Tolerance titles.
Sorry to hear that. You're missing some great porn. How brave of you to volunteer to fight our legal battles should they arise. I'm sure your statment "2257 is a weak excuse for not putting up trailers" will win over any judge.
Many other companies can do whatever they want. We do what we think is best for us.

Virtually every other studio puts trailers up except Zero Tolerance and Third Degree. If the website is based off shore and not subject to any stupid American laws then what's the problem? Why not just register the website in Europe. No one give a stuff over here. In fact I don't know why all porn websites aren't simply based on European servers then they wouldn't have to adhere to any pointless 2257 laws or anything else the bible bashing right wingers in America can think up.
It doesn't matter to the law where the server is located. If the owner is in the USA and the material is available in the USA then the operation is subject to US laws.
Edited to add that it really doesn't matter if the owner is, either, but, obviously, it's somewhat impractical to arrest the owner if he's outside the USA.

Well I am still confused. If Zero Tolerence owns the website and produces the videos then why is there a 2257 issue? They have the necessary records and documentation for all their models and productions so what are they afraid of?
Its not like the situation was on this site where there was a concern about about Drew being a "secondary producer" and thus being responsible for having documentation on any explicit acts.
If they shoot the videos and have the docs then why can they not put explicit trailers on their website? It doesn't make any sense -- at least not on the surface.

There is much more to the 2257 laws than you guys realize. There are sections about cataloging the URLs where all the content appears as one example. Accept that the studio doesn't want to take the legal risk and move on. No business is going to let fan comments determine their level of legal risk. There is some level of legal risk for every one of us involved in this industry. The laws are vague.
