Hey, I have a question for any other sellers on Adult DVD Marketplace. I've been an active seller for 8 years (today is my anniversary) and consistently have averaged about 7 or 8 DVDs sold per month. However, for the past few months, my sales have dropped significantly. Have any sellers noticed a drop in sales? Let me ask any frequent buyers if they have switched to streaming XXX instead of buying DVD?

I buy extensively on ADM and do not stream at all. Occasional Chaturbate viewing for some newbies is my streaming so to speak. I will say that the shipping costs on ADM has made me start to look elsewhere and now buy as well. I mean 4.25 for 1st item and 1.75 each item after is 6 bucks for shipping 2 DVD's...I know postage has gone up but that is complete bullshit. Only other reason why I am buying less on ADM is for the large sellers who advertise they have item in stock and they are basically having others fulfill their orders so you get like a 2 week wait for a brand new release and for smaller sellers the fact that ADM does not police the turds that continue to sell and deliver horrendous service and product if you get it. Long story short is ADM is the reason for your sales drop not you.

Thanks, but I wasn't really blaming myself. I'm just wondering if we're finally starting to see the decline of physical media for porn.

Yeah, and they've gone completely mad with international shipping costs.
It used to be much more tolerable, when it was about $18 for the first item and 0.50 each after that. That's still quite a bit of money but some sellers sold cheap dvds, even some rare stuff. So ordering 10-20 cheap dvds sometimes was a very good deal compared to other stores. Especially when euro was very strong against the US dollar (it used to be so that for a $80 purchase you had to pay only about 60 euros - today $80 purchase costs about 73 euros).
At first I was shocked when the cost jumped at about $24 dollars for the first item, but nowadays it's over $30 for the first item! And maybe something around $1-2 for each item after that.
That initial 30+ dollar shipping cost pretty much killed that place for me.

Most of my DVD collection came from ADM. But I'm buying less and less DVDs as time goes on because of streaming. The prices at ADM are great but the shipping costs make those deals seem a little less great even though they're still probably cheaper than other places. I like and prefer DVDs but dealing with storing them, prices and the waiting for them in the mail or the occasional no show made me start to use AEBN more for movies. Their catalogue is pretty good and offers some things ADM doesn't and is actually cheaper to "own" a movie than to buy it and you get the movie immediately. I've also been buying stuff through FYRETV. They' dropped their prices a few months ago so buying scenes and new and older movies is a pretty good deal...even though over the last few months they've slow with new releases. But I still buy stuff from ADM that I can't get from FYRETV or AEBN like BANGBROS, DOGFART, and a few others. I know they are available on their respective sites but I don't join any sites that don't offer streaming through ROKU. AEBN has started carrying BRAZZERS and BLACKED titles but they're kinda pricey as are the JULES JORDAN titles so for now it makes more sense to just buy them from ADM. As AEBN increases it's catalogue I'll probably get more new stuff from them and especially older titles.
ADM is still the best deal in town for DVDs but it's just getting easier, quicker and cheaper to just stream it.

I would like to buy DVDs from ADM, but unfortunately they didn't accept members from my country.

I don't know if this is germane to the topic of ADM sales in general...
But OFF OUTLET.com who were a pretty big seller at ADM appear to have... disappeared. No dvds for sales come up under their name.
I made an order more than three weeks ago, and it still hadn't come, so I called up the site. They got back to me pretty quickly and said they will refund me.
