The test that's used by porn performers, on the other hand, is the PCR test, which actually looks for the actual virus. These tests come back positive within days of infection, but they're more expensive and the test takes a couple days to process (which is why they aren't common outside of high-risk jobs/incidents, or after an original positive ELISA test). As for the original question I can think of several people formerly in porn that were infected with HIV by anal creampies.
