I've just phoned up ScoreUK to enquire why it is that the May edition of Score has received the hack and blob treatment from ScoreUS, whereas all previous editions since the UK laws were relaxed have been the full US version, and it seems that Score have seen fit to resort to a rather underhanded marketing tactic. From what I can gather, Score have decided to only release a fully censored edition for the UK market in order for the punter to be forced into taking out a subscription to the US version. So, what it all comes down to is "you either subscribe to the full version through us or you get a watered down substandard version through your local newsagent! Like it or lump it!!!" This is also the attitude I got from the person on the phone, who abruptly, and quite arrogantly said, "Nothing to do with us, sorry," and then put the phone down. Now, correct me if I'm wrong, but what I bought was a "Score magazine"? So, in that case, why is it nothing to do with ScoreUK, especially seeing that it was the rather crap UK version that I bought! This is not the way to do good business, to treat customers in such a vindictive way, to make sudden changes such as this to their magazine with no sign of censorship on the cover, and to force the customer into taking out a subscription or else you'd get a crap second rate version in your newsagents! Comments please. Have any of you received such bad treatment from Score Group? Are they always so arrogant and underhanded in their tactics as this? I especially feel that it was underhanded to make this change suddenly and without any sticker on the front noting that the issue had been censored! Edited by - Mojo on Mar 4 2005 [Link] |

I'm sure their PR machine is a chalkboard because you'll never see any of their women starring in a film or doing a commerical. that's not what they're about. my question would then be why do you go there? if you want some specifics I'll give you as much or as little as you need, but I've talked about this time and time again. the BIGGEST problem here being that they don't give a rats ass about their fans. you can write in, make suggestions, and literally stage a protest all you want. unforunately, the guy who runs it still started the company and he still thinks it is 1980 for some reason and he's the man. They've also proven you right in respects that they never did answer my complaint E-mail that I sent them. I guess they only answer E-mails that blow sunshine up their arses! Again, it's such a shame that they screw the punter over, because I was just becoming a fan of the publication. [Link] |

I couldn't tell you the last time I read that a particular model came to them or wished to shoot for them. there is one exception there, Angela White who Austrailian, who supposed has wanted to be in Score since she was a little girl, but she's only 19 yrs old now! the upside of this is that she's 19 yrs old and has a 36G cup chest with very little baby fat. the downside is they have no idea how to promote talent like that. for about the billionth time I'll state that they have a bunch of monkies working in their video department. any film you buy from them looks like it was shot in a room the size of a closest. ALL of the scenes are recycled and in one of maybe five locations. watch Chloe XXX and then go watch Linsey's Lizzy Seduction and they're shooting on the same bed with the same blankets and wall paper. put a damn potted plant there or something. make an attempt to change the setting! I swear to you, I swear, that on Chloe Vevrier's "Best of ..." DVD you could hear someone doing construction in the background when she was eating out Autumn Jade. I thought I was hearing things until I listened to it with the volume on FULL blast. the list goes on and on ... they've done a number of "Best of ... " DVDs for Chloe, Linsey, Autumn, and even Susie Wilden who didn't have near as much material to work with. Minka, biggest Asian breasts on the planet, has been with the company since it's opening '92. they have enough material to give her an entire series, but do you think they'd attempt something like that? they haven't and I don't think they will.
