I was moving some files around today. I label my files by name. For some reason while I was moving some things around, all but 7 files disappeared from My Documents on my G: drive. Now when I look at the drive it still says that I have 60 gigs of data, I just can't see them. I don't know how to get to them, there was a lot of personal pictures on this drive that I don't wanna loose. Anyone have any ideas? [Link] |

Set your Windows Explorer to show hidden files, folders, etc. 3. Look in the Recycle bin 4. Do a search of the entire hard drive(s), including hidden files, system files and subdirectories, etc 5. Run an undelete utility to see if they were accidentally deleted anyway 6. Run a HD utility to check the integrity of the file allocation tables [Link] |
