Hey,

Anyone else having issues with the search function on the forum? I can search for any term but when i click on a result it just directs to a blank webpage?

I searched for Kinsley Karter and found her thread with the search function. When I double clicked to get to the thread (as I always do) I only saw a "white screen" but didn´t get to the thread.

Anything wrong?

Is the search for a post function working properly? The last few times I've used it, I've been able to find the thread that contained the post, but when clicking on that selection, instead of it taking you directly to the post, it takes you to the end of the thread.

I just tested it. I searched the whole forum for the phase "Kinsley Karter" and clicked the result in Tech Talk. It took me to the correct post in this page.

Please provide an example of what's not working for you so I can attempt to replicate and investigate. "it's not working properly" is a little vague.

And now there are two posts in this thread with the words 'kinsley' and 'carter'. I searched for the words and the phrase. Two search results are displayed and clicking either of them directs me to the correct post in my browser, which is Chrome.

but when i clicked on the 2nd last selection, instead of taking me to that post on Jul 8, it took me to the end of the thread.

The apostrophe in the search term wasn't being properly escaped on redirect to the post. It's fixed now.

Your search works for me. Did you remember to specify a time period? 3 pages of results when changed to "Since 1999" for all forums.

In the last few days , or longer , a new " bug " seems to be ravaging :

While listing search results that have more than 1 page , often or always there seems to be only the first page showing up =
When I click on page 2 or 4 etc ... , there are the same results as page 1 .

Interesting. I'll check it out soon. I haven't made any changes to that page. But I think it might have something to do with the file syncing between our 3 servers. If a search results in more than 1 page of results they get stored on disk as a temporary file that's synced between the 3 servers. When you click to page 2 you that request might route to a different server that doesn't have the temp file on it yet. I'll likely need to switch the way I cache forum search results.
