The drug might be causing the dryness, or it may be an indirect cause, eg. weakening the immune system and making you vulnerable to systemic candida or some other such thing. Anyway, if the drug is the cause, you should be able to fix it, but don't be surprised if some of the effects of the drug last after you stop taking it, or if you have to take other measures after you stop taking it, to correct the situation.
