It is better now but there is still a hiccup whenever I reply to a topic. When I click on Reply to Topic the little green bars at the bottom of my screen that show how much has loaded (sorry I don't know the tech term for this thingamajig) fill up once for the message box and then reset and fill up again for the top banner. I have had a couple of times where the standard could not connect to site message has popped up in the top banner though I could still post a reply. [Link]

The green bars fill up once for the top banner and then reset and fill up again before the Message Has Been Posted and You Will Now Return to The Forum part comes up. [Link]

It made it to the top 10 on Digg.com earlier today. There was a link to ADT in that article. I think that was causing some of the slowdowns. [Link]

We're no longer on satellite so I can run decent speed tests from a couple of different ISPs. I suspect there's a router down somewhere out there since it's only causing problems for some people and not others. [Link]

The 4 processors in both systems typically hover between 4%-6% usage with brief spikes to 50% or so. Each system is only using half of the available RAM. The drives are rarely accessed due in-memory caching. We're well within our allocated bandwidth too. We have a dedicated 10mbit circuit and we're hovering around 2mbit-3mbit/sec actual usage. [Link]

But not nearly as bad as other people. So I didn't bother to mention it, but I did notice it. Friday (I think) around 2 or 2:30 pm was the worst for me. [Link]
