Hello everybody!

I am new to this forum (just registered), so my apologies if this has been asked before.

Hope anyone out there can answer a question regarding the "Seymore and Shane mount Tiffany" DVD.

I have read on different web pages that on the "B" side of this DVD (uncredited on the package) there is as a bonus film called "KNOCKERAMA".

I just received my copy (ordered from a reliable online dealer) and to my surprise I have found out that there is no such thing. In fact, there is no "B" side at all.

I am confused, have there been several different editions on the marketplace, some with the bonus film and some without?

Besides, on the package it reads a running time of 2H 18' for the Seymore feature but the real running time on my copy is 2H 6'. Does this mean there have been different cuts of the same film as well?

To add more confusion to the mix, printed on the DVD itself it reads "5 hours" (which I presume would be the total running time of the Seymore feature AND the bonus feature).

Finally, I have also noticed that although the film was released by the SUNSHINE label on my copy it reads FHV as the label releasing the DVD.

Can anyone shed a light on this? Thanks in advance!

Let's start with Sunshine/FHV. Realistically Sunshine is the new name of FHV. IIRC, there were allegations that the people who owned Factory Home Video (FHV) played some games to screw creditors. They opened Sunshine, bought all of the assets from FHV and then shut FHV down. But for the sake of this discussion FHV=Sunshine. When Seymore Butts worked for them, the company was FHV.

As far as Knockerama is concerned, when Sunshine first started manufacturing DVD's they would put two titles on opposite sides of the same disc in order to save money. However, since they were putting a "feature" title on one side and a cheap comp on the other side, I would guess that people got wise to this and started buying the cheap comp titles in order to get the more expensive feature title. They probably stopped this practice when they did reprints of the feature titles. However, since the disc does say "5 hours" on it it's possible that, rather than doing a double sided disc, they did a double layer disc and the additional footage in in a "Extras" section now.

The running time of my copy (which was one of the originals with Knockerama on the flip side) is exactly 2:07. I don't know if there were any trailers or anything else that would have caused an additional minute over what you are seeing. I just hit the display button to see the run time.
