The shitty thing is for veronica though. She promoted Digitalplayground alot during the last month or two, and then to be screwd over must suck. And now we loose eva lovia. Its no point in voting for either august or alexis (for us to keep eva for other productions) because they are going to choose her in the end. Shes a new, fresh girl who has done minimal amount of scenes for other comapnies and thats ideal for digital playground. August and Alexis have hsot alot of content on the other hand. This blows.

I would much rather see Eva become the next Jules Jordan star or perhaps the next Blacked.com star,instead of the next DP star!...Video downloads aren't even available to DP members on their website!
Can I get confirmation from other people on this? Because if this is true and Eva is the next DP girl I will not be a fan anymore. I could deal with it if downloads were available but will not waste my time if they are not available.
Then why bother hyping this nonsense about voting? It seems like anything any of these girls put up on Twitter is just to promote this idiotic contest, trying to get people to vote for them. And before anybody takes my rhetorical question literally, I know it's all just to generate some hype for this dying studio because they no longer have any idea how to generate any sort of buzz without resorting to lame gimmicks like this. I just hope it won't be long before people catch on to this, and DP's "contests" start getting the same reaction (meh, yawn) that everything else they do gets. I wasn't surprised by any of this, but it's sad to me that we'll be losing a bright new star that has an amazing career ahead of her to what is essentially a cancer to the industry. Worse yet is how low these talents are willing to go to prove how badly they want to win this thing.
I don't think so. There was something weird going on at the end where August seemed to disappear from the set. Not sure if she walked off or what. I posted a little more about it in her thread. There are a couple of vague references to it on her Twitter feed as well --- something about there being "more to the story." I love Eva but, in fairness to August and the other girl in contention for the DP contract, it would be hard to see that photo of Eva out to dinner with Keiran, Dani et al and still think this is a fair contest that is going to result in anyone but Eva winning.
Wanted to post a second follow-up message. I re-watched more of the replay (still haven't seen 100% of it, but probably about 80% at this point) and not seeing any interaction between Dani and August. Do they dislike each other or something? Dani is initially a bystander in the scene but Eva pulls her in early on and the bulk of her interaction was with Eva and one of the actors. It kind of sucked for August because the scene basically broke down to Eva interacting with Dani and one male actor while August was basically paired up with two girls and Keiran. Seemed like August spent a good bit of time on ball-sucking duty.

Yep, like the Watcher said, its a one year contract, exclusive. They are also guaranteed a leading role in a major DP film and her own Fleshlight sex toy. Not sure what DP pays their contract girls, but the "winner" may find that being a contract girl isn't all that it is chalked up to. I think some Vivid (or maybe Wicked) girls have complained about their contracts in the past, yeah? I remember seeing an interview awhile back where someone (I forget who) was complaining that the company can basically send them all over the place for appearances and such, but the girls don't make a dime as its all considered part of their "contract." On the upside, Eva will only be 26/27 when her contract ends (provided that she doesn't re-up or retire), so its not like she'll be with DP forever.
Having watched the scene (s) on the Digital Playground site, I thought Eva Lovia pretty clearly stood out. She has a very sexy onscreen presence and at least gave the impression of being really into it. However, it's really decided, she may clearly have won whatever she's won quite legitimately. I'm a fan of August Ames and Alexis Adams, but at least in the 5 minute 3some and the orgy, their performances didn't compare. It didn't help Alexis Adams to be paired with a guy who appeared to be having problems staying hard during the 3some. I too have no idea why August Ames disappeared in the last 10 minutes. I guess it's a sign that it really was un-rehearsed and live.
Unless the actress is going to do only orgy scenes once signed by DP, it shouldn't be the only factor considered as they make their choice. Even if that was going to be the case, not all three girls were on a level playing field (since Alexis was stuck with a limp dick and Dani jumped into the contest to perform with Eva exclusively). I loved Eva's performance and—of the three still in contention—she is my favorite. But the fact is that in terms of fan voting, she came in 4th place. She only made the Top 3 because Keiran, Dani and Nikki basically opted to ignore the fan vote and boot Veronica Rodriguez instead. So that already suggests to me that things aren't really playing out fairly. That dinner photo of Eva with the judges doesn't speak to a fair and impartial process in my opinion, and August's tweet (now deleted) suggesting that there may have been some other factors involved with her early departure from the orgy scene is interesting, to say the least. Like I said... I'm still rooting for Eva but I don't feel that the process is being played out fairly. By the way, hats off to Veronica who was paired with Eva in the team event and the orgy, and still went the extra mile for her despite being given the shaft minutes earlier --- at least she got $5k out of the deal.

Nobody is questioning when the photo was taken. It is fairly obvious that it was taken after the Live show. I don't think anyone has claimed that the Live Show was rigged. The issue is that she is out to dinner with the 3 judges who are going to pick the winner of the DP contract in 2 days from now. Since neither August or Alexis was there, it is going to look really, really bad if Eva wins the contract. Maybe August and Alexis were invited and declined. Who knows. But regardless of whether the contest is being run fairly or not, you would think that everyone involved would be a little bit smarter than to go out to dinner and post a selfie of it to social media.
^ Exactly. It makes the last supposed round of voting look like a complete farce (well, even more of a farce than the most recent vote). Unless they other two girls actually say they were invited and declined, it doesn't look fair to anyone. Let her be a contract star if she wants.... Less actual work and better pay. Isn't that what anyone wants. Be glad she has/does something and quit being greedy for the next scene 20 minute after you see her last one. The only reason I wouldn't want her to contract with DP: THEY ALL GET BOOB JOBS.... well with a few exceptions, but it seems inevitable for most of them. Only Stoya comes to mind, and thank god she didn't. Anyways, I enjoy Eva Lovia. She is hot as hell, natural and worth watching no matter what she does.

I mean I totally get wanting a contract. I think it probably is a good business move, that doesn't mean as a watcher I think it is "good". Digital isn't a very good company so from the perspective of someone whose main want is for her to be in good scenes it isn't a move I look forward to.

Hmmm, she had to do damage control for the B/G crossover, and now she has to do it again with this contest. I don't know, Where Abigail Mac truly loves being with women, I think Eva only does it as a means to an end, so I don't expect much G/G in her future.

According to Brazzers, the Hot And Mean scene with Abigail Mac was shot on 23 November and the Real Wife Stories scene with Keiran Lee was shot on 11 December.

Not happy for this DP contract. I love the free performers, but it's her decision and however must be respected. A good news is her scenes with HardX and Evil Angel.
Uh-huh, seems like a desperate attempt to keep what G/G fans she has left before they too disappear over the horizon and she becomes no more than a very distant memory.
Why a contract? This is a waste of time is porn nowadays! Is someone still watch DIgital Playground movies? Why at least a exclusive contract with Hard X?? I think sometimes this pornstars or her managers had really dumb and stupid decisions! Well, at least we have a Hard X and a Mike Adriano scene for this year after that i will wait for 2016!!
