Thinking of ordering some Marc Dorcel titles from "Orgamik", titles that are not yet released on "Wicked".

Just wondering if anyone has had any difficulties with US Customs on shipments from Europe.

Any other recommendations would be appreciated.

I've ordered from both Orgazmik and EroDVD many times. I've never had any issues with Customs. Shipments from Orgazmik require a signature. So I typically have to go to the post office to pick these packages up.

Depending on how many titles you decide to order I'd recommend you consider CyberDVDx and AdultDVDx.

They both offer Dorcel titles at about 10 Euros less than Orgazmik and have a far wider catalogue than EroDVD . As for safe shipping to the states , I don't know . Then again are Dorcel DVDs really likely to be seized by US customs ?

I've bought from both of these sites as well. One thing about the some of the DVD's (particularly Colmax DVD's) from these sites that is different than any discs that I've bought from the others is that some of the DVD's have been coded for Region 2. Depending on the equipment being used to watch these movies, Region coding could be a problem. If it is, pay attention to the Region. Both sites are pretty good about noting whether discs are region coded or not.

That's a good point Bill , I'd not even thought about it before . However , as you say , they do clearly label what region their discs are . Skimming quickly through the two catalogues I was unable to find any Dorcel discs that weren't Region 0 ( code free ) , though that doesn't mean there aren't any . I'm guessing that the DVDs are also made in NTSC , couldn't find any info on this ? The thing is , most European TVs are capable of translating an NTSC signal into a PAL one , but as far as I'm aware the reverse is not often the case in America .

It's not likely that the discs are made in NTSC format, it's at least worth an email to confirm the format.

All of the original Dorcel productions are region free, NTSC releases. You can verifiy this by checking out their web store at www.dorcelshop.com.

You should have no problems.

That's true. But be careful. Dorcel sells titles that are not "original Dorcel produtions". Some of these discs are not NTSC (but are region free).

Other than Dorcel movies, I don't think that I have received any other NTSC titles from European retailers. The other line that has been available in NTSC (direct from the manufacturer) has been the Sarah Young: Goddess of Love series, which is available in both PAL and NTSC as well as in multiple languages IIRC.

Sure, Bill, keep teasing me about the Goddess of Love series...Hans isn't selling it anymore, but might, possibly, maybe in the near future.....

He just shipped disc 11, out of a series of 12. I'd be willing to bet that once he has released all 12 discs, and has taken advantage of the monopoly that he currently has, he will allow others to sell the series.

That's kinda what he did with the Private Fantasies series, although he released all of those discs simultaneously on his site.

Well, you're right. Hans and I were just chatting via email and the plan for US availability apparently is:

Goddess of Love #1 - 12 end-of-January/early-February
Private Fantasies #11 - 20 March 2004
Private Fantasies #21 - 30 September 2004
