I'm after Hustler's Lesbian Teachers & School Girls, well to be precise 1 scene from it. It's been released, but no scenes are available to download from it on AdultDVDEmpire or Hotmovies. It would never be released in the UK with that title. Plan C is buying it from AdultDVDEmpire, BUT how long would it take to get here and would customs confiscate it due to the title?

I'm not in the UK so this can't be a definitive answer to your question, but I do know that here in Canada things coming into the country are inspected and rejected all the time. While the title probably wouldn't raise an alarms here in Canada, if it would in the UK then that could be a problem for you. This is just a guess, but I'm guessing that most DVDs these days are going to be adult ones, and that likely means someone will be checking the package coming in.

15 years or so ago I would regularly read a monthly list of things rejected by Canadian border officers. Max Hardcore and BDSM-themed DVDs were always on that list. The odd thing about that was that I had amassed a collection of Max Hardcore scenes and a lot of BDSM stuff because I subscribed to sites where it was available. I presumed that the people ordering the DVDs weren't comfortable subscribing and downloading. But for me, that was always a better option than trying to ship something into the country that was apt to be rejected.

I live in the UK and have had DVDs from the US before without any problems. But there's no guarantee of course and postage and packing tends to be expensive. Also in the unusual event that it was opened I can't see customs confiscating it if they can see it's just run-of-the-mill porn for your own viewing, even though the fusspots at the BBFC might object to the title.

Do they jusr look at the boxcover or pull it out and watch it? Studios need to do softcore covers with mainstream names.

So I'm based in the UK and I just ordered a DVD through Adult DVD Empire for the first time using the UPS International Priority shipping method. This shipping method does not offer package tracking and I was told I won't get any email alerts once my package is due to be delivered to my house either. This is an issue for me because my letterbox isn't big enough for a DVD to fit through, so I need to be home to receive it and if they're right, I won't know if I've missed a delivery too. However, I would think once my package arrives in the UK, it should be handed over to Royal Mail right? In which case I will get an email informing me my package is on it's way to me and if I miss a delivery too. For those who are living in the UK and have ordered a DVD/Blu ray through Adult DVD Empire before, how has it worked in your experience? Have I guessed right?
