I for one enjoy humorous porn. If it really is funny.
A classic example is The Butt Detective with Julie Ashton.
What are some other porn comedy classics?

Personally, I thought that "All About Keri" was really funny and really well made. The storyline involves a guy who is trying to get a script sold, only to see his movie idea turned into a porn flick.
Still wanking after all these years. 8082 Posts 10/00

Yeah I think nowadays only Rodney Moore makes me laugh (or at least smile) with his setups. Also the Dark Bros (but that's ancient porn history). Seymore Butts used to be funny but he lost it. And John Stagliano...
Ron Jeremy also did some funny stuff in several movies. I never could understand why people thought Jonathan Morgan was funny but then again maybe he reminds me too much of Louis van Gaal and perhaps that killed the humor.
To answer the question : YES ! As for recommendations, there's a Jerome Tanner thread in the Feature Side where you might find sound recommendations. Recently, I enjoyed "Take My Wife". I can't say it got me rolling in laughter, but it light & refreshing.
To some degree, a lott of porn is kind of funny. But that's not what you mean.
I've seen good porn comedies, and truly horrible porn comedies. I've seen good porn dramas, and truly horrible porn dramas. Sometimes the comedies ask too much of the actors, and sometimes the dramas can be overly pretentious. I don't prefer one genre over the other, but no comedy has ever depressed me the way Her Name Was Lisa did.

I'd further endorse the already mentioned Rodney Moore. He is the only porn-maker whose attempts at humour amuse as opposed to just making me cringe. The way he can play up the absurdity of the usual porn scene set-ups always tickles me. One example that has stuck in my head is the Trinity scene in I Swallow 9: Trinity, a stripper who adamantly refuses anything sexual beyond just letting Rodney jerk off as he watches her strip, is finally persuaded into sex after Rodney gets his cock stuck in some railings and he convinces her that she has to lick it to lube it up and free him - Trinity's performance is impressively convincing as the reluctant stripper not completely sure what she's got herself into, while the scene is utterly and knowingly absurd but still subtly and ironically handled by director Moore.
Good & Evil is merely a matter of perspective, I perfer to call myself... Determined 1229 Posts 7/05

This may be the number one factor as to why I don't watch features, people trying to be humorous or too dramatic. It often falls short of my expectations.
I like a little spontaneous humor now and then, but mostly I like heat. Passion is number one.
Trying to get me to watch a shoddy movie, laced with sex scenes (mostly with people who can't act), seems like a waste of time.
I really like the idea of vignettes though. Set up fantasies, rather than try to tie everything together.
The circus act ridiculousness of some of these flicks is making a lot of them rather funny (though unintentionally, I am sure). I mean, there's no passion in one girl drinking goo out of another one's ass. That's just plain nasty. Rather than barf upon seeing a scene like that though, I've found myself laughing (albeit, probably as a defense mechanism against barfing). Where all this is headed is anyone's guess. People don't seem to like to mix poop and porn. So, perhaps that's the final frontier. Then again, who knows? Maybe some day I'll pop a dvd into my computer and see some girl drop a hot steaming load onto another girl's head and be told that that is "sexy."
Even though I've only seen one Rodney Moore flick, I have to agree with you Lost Horizon. His humour isn't at anyone else's expense, it's almost slightly self deprecating at times which has its own weird charm. The banter is amusing and the women seem to enter into and play up to it. The humour and his apparent admiration and enjoyment of his female partners lets me forgive a few technical aspects I'm less fond of.
I think lighthearted sex often leads to very hot sex, it doesn't have to be a comedy but I do like smiling very much.

I like Rodney Moore - because of his (as you say, Loraine) self-deprecating humour - and also because some of the specialist areas he works in (hairy women, transsexuals, plumpers) chime with my own particular foibles. But I think Moore is unusual in the contemporary world of porn. Certainly he is a bit of a porn throwback. There is a rather hippie-ish ethos to his work that hints of more innocent days. The disclaimer that introduces his website is admirable as a mission statement:but I can't help feeling that that is an increasingly minority view in modern porn - which is a shame.
Sometimes I think I've turned into a cynic or don't trust my judgement anymore when it comes to trying to find films I like so I'm glad you say that Lost Horizon, because I liked that stuff too when I first read it at his site, and as far as I've been able to see, there's very little of that cringe making copy writing that has me wincing when I visit most porn producer's sites.
In the Horny Hairy Girls episode I have, there's a couple of scenes of lovely women just sunning themselves, showing off a little beside a lake somewhere, it's so low key and cute and very different from anything I've seen pornwise and yes, it does have a slightly hippie tone to it - it's nice.

I dunno about the sex itself, but the BTS in many flicks sure gives me a laugh, which I gladly welcome.
As long as the sex is hot I enjoy a funny porn. Comedy keeps me from "fast forwarding" through the movie.
As far as good porn comedy is concerned I like the new stuff.
Nerd's from Shane's World was hilarious. Technically it was bad but it had great frat house humor.
Contract Star from Digital Playground was so bad it was funny but that's what they were going for...I think.
Wicked has a corner on the market with the Jonathan Morgan stuff and Stormy always does a great job. Not only with her acting but her directing and writing. I still think Second Thoughts was one of the best movies last year. Awesome, hard sex (for a feature) and really well done.
Sorry, but I'm not Jenna. Excuse me for the mistake; that was not my intention. It's true that for me Jenna makes the porn funny and hot. And yep, I like Jenna so much... [:P)]. I don't have any problem who calls me JH fanatic... in a good way, of course And remember: "It's porn, it's fun!"
