Black Romance: Color of Love

West Coast Productions was gracious enough to send me a first peek at their upcoming Black Romance, starring Bethany Benz, Leilani Leeanne, Misty Stone, Rihanna Rimes, Skin Diamond, Lucas Stone, Mark Anthony, Mr. Marcus, Nat Turnher, and Prince Yahshua. It's set for release in early February, and I'm providing a first look here with a full review to follow when I see the full retail release.
Black Romance is a great release that provides just. Each opening completely embraces the romance aspect with a great looking black cast along with candles, wine, bubble baths, jewelery, and the little thoughts that always bring an extra spark to a relationship. Sexually the movie works just as well, with plenty of chemistry along with an extra boost due to each scene having its own couple rather than using any of the male or female talent in multiple scenes.

Nat Turnher does a great job setting the mood for the movie setting out candles around a bubble bath, and has great chemistry with the stunning Misty Stone to make the opening scene a complete winner.

As usual Skin Diamond gives up the ass, but does so with a great romantic lead-in as well as the extra fun of sharing something she always wanted to try with lover Mark.

Bethany and Mr. Marcus' opening with him trying to bring back the night they met is bound to melt plenty of couples, and keeps things going with no shortage of chemistry as they make love in front of a fireplace.

The only complaint I can really have about the setups for the movie comes at the start of Rihanna's scene as she follows Prince's string of rose petals (immediately after Bethany and Mr. Marcus followed their own string of rose petals), but that complaint was quickly forgotten due to the great chemistry between them.

Leilani provides a nice little twist for the final scene as she sets things up for her man Lucas as he returns home on business, and leads him in front of the fireplace for a nicely passionate welcome home fuck.
Through it all, Bishop does a very nice job capturing the action, and there's no doubt to the chemistry in each of the scenes. There are a few places where the aspect ratio seems to change slightly, and a few places where the footage seems exceptionally soft, but that's the only complaints I can have about Black Romance. Even with those complaints, I can't help but be impressed with Black Romance for the simple reason of how well it embraced the romantic aspect without losing any of the chemistry or heat. So often when releases are aimed at the couples market, especially when it's a company that normally aims at the gonzo market, the action feels held back and often seems borderline insulting with how obviously the action is being held back. That never happens here, and I'll admit that even as somebody who's enjoyed Bishop's work in the past, I was a little more impressed with Bishop as a director after watching Black Romance than I was going in. If you're wanting an all black cast with a focus on chemistry and romance, make sure you pick up Black Romance when it comes out.
