I admit that I am addicted to porn.
I find it stimulating to fantasize about having sex with a variety of sexy women under a variety of circumstances, however in all cases, I would like to please my female partner(s) and that she/they also enjoy the sex.
I want to share with you the forum reader, that I am confused and frustrated. Very confused and very frustrated.
Why does so much porn include doing the following to the female sexual partner(s): slapping, hitting, chocking, gagging (often to the point of tears and suffocation), spitting on, dominating women, shoving a (often huge) penis from a rectum into a vagina and a mouth (often guarantied to cause an infection in the female partner), ramming including painfully ramming a VIAGRA-tized giant penis (without adequate lubrication, often into a small and delicate female partner), etc.
Why do so many manufacturers of porn frequently show beautiful women, young or mature, well groomed, well dressed, sexy dressed, smiling, in sexy or innocent attire, on the covers of their product. Then they film the woman or near girls (possibly sometimes under-aged girls), being treated like a piece of human Sh-t by her male sexual partner(s).
Why do so many male actors think that I purchased the porn to watch them, often behaving like a slob in every conceivable way, dominate the film, dominate the women, dominate the sex act, treating their female partner(s) like pieces of human garbage, and seemingly destroying any pleasure these female actors may have had with the sex in the film?
Can someone explain this to me?
Can someone tell me which companies to turn to, who treat their female actors well.

I am not writing this to judge others. I am aware that there are many men who hate women and would like to treat them as I describe above. I am aware that there are some men who hate the women so much, that that would like to kill them, and in fact do kill them or seriously harm them. I am aware that there are a few women, who surprisingly are aroused to be treated badly. We all know that!
But I think, that most men, at least in this country, like women, desire sex with them, would like also to sexually please them and find it arousing when the women partners do enjoy the sex, without being physically harmed and abused.
As a further proof of this, if the porn companies would show honest scenes and description about what they intend to do with these "innocent/sexy/beautiful" women on the cover of their products (and some do, but most do not), I suspect that they know very well that most men would be so turned off by this, that (I think that the average man) would not buy their product.
Can someone explain to me, how the industry arrived at the state that they seem to be in?
Can someone direct me to products/companies/directors who treat their women well?
I am frustrated to continue to fall on my face by buying products which show the actions I describe above which for me personally are a total turn off. Furthermore, I feel ashamed to support companies by my purchase which film and dishonestly market such products.
With this post, I hope to generate a discussion. Again, to each, his/her own sexual preference.
But I simply do not understand how the female-degrading and abusive sex as I describe above seems to have become so frequent in main line porn companies represented at adult sites.
Is it just me? Do most men purchases of porn like female abusive/male dominating behavior? Or has something gone very wrong in the industry?
Yours,
ES

In another thread, relating how people edit their porn, it was explained how all this utterly stupid rough stuff gets edited out from our personal porn collection.
These porn directors and producers think they are (personally) having fun or perhaps think that the majority of porn consumers think all those horrendous and humiliating acts are really enjoyable.
They keep pushing the envelope believing they have a product that nobody else is doing, but in the last couple of years, it really is all the same and it becomes cyclical. The minute an actor spits in the face/mouth of a poor female performer, someone else immediately copies it and thinks that is great and "arousing".
Sure, in your bedroom the first thing that you do when you see your girlfriend/wife is spit in her mouth, pull her hair, continuously choke her and spank her roughly. She will love you for that and make it a memorable night for both of you.
And Max Hardcore may still be wondering what has happened to his American dream...freedom to fist, to piss on, throat gag girls stupid and yes financially desperate enough to undergo that kind of abusive treatment for a few hundred dollars.
Yes there were "rough" themed hc movies in the golden age, but porn in the 1980's and 1990's was not like that and it sold, and people actually enjoyed making it and watching it. The movies had at least a semblance of a thin plot, good looking ladies, some "respectful" and non-degrading sex, and people who appeared to be having fun performing sex acts (yes even the female performers). So if you go to the supermarket and only find BBB or vinegar chips on the shelves, and you just like the regular chips, what choice do you have? Then the manufacturers will (try to) tell you that there is a great demand for those two types and that's what they intend to make.

For each male porn consumer who complains about the rough stuff, you will find a female porn performer who says it's cruel and unfair to NOT degrade her, spit in her face, beat her 'til she bleeds and make her lick your dirty feet. She'll claim that it's not right for you to deny her the pleasure that she can only get from these things.
So I've come to the conclusion that back in the day, porn was made for the fans. Now, it's made for the female performers.
It's selfish of us to think that we should enjoy the porn that we pay good money for. It's all about the girls enjoying it. They're nice enough to let us see their tits, so we should be nice enough to watch them get beaten senseless. Even if we don't like it.

Hmmm... I hadn't noticed that much abusive/degrading porn at all. I usually buy movies from Zero Tolerance, 3rd Degree, Elegant Angel, Digital Playground, Evil Angel (lol, there lighter works, like G is for Gianna for example), New Sensations, Jules Jordan, Brazzer's, Naughty America, and Digital Sin to name a few... Vivid, Penthouse Forum, and so many other companies to name also make lots of movies w/o abuse or degradation to women that I find it weird to see such harsh allegations of the porn industry... and to be honest, I noticed that if the sex is really rough (which is not a big turn on for myself either) that it comes mainly from specific performers. Like I personally think that Cody Lane and Annette Schwarz scenes are too aggressive for my tastes, so I generally avoid movies that they are in even though I think they are both beautiful. But ultimately, I think it is up to the performers and their agents to decide what is and what is not acceptable for them, and directors too should step in if a scene gets too rough.

I think the trend towards rougher stuff is in decline and is now usually restricted to those lines that are clearly aimed at that niche. If you don't dig it just look for the other stuff.

First of all, thank you for addressing this topic. I've recently had many discussions with women in the industry about this. There are definitely quite a few female porn stars that enjoy choking, slapping, hair pulling, spitting, punching, bondage, s&m, etc and they request that the male talent (and/or fellow female talent) partake in these acts to get them off in the scene. Now as to why they enjoy this, you'll have to ask them. In regards to acts like ATM, ass-to-pussy-to-ass fucking, I have yet to meet a girl in the industry that enjoys those acts, mainly due to the unsanitary nature of them. (I could always be proven wrong though.) Director's don't usually ask for most of these acts for their films, unless it's for a particular fetish. (For example, if you're working for kink.com, you're expected to partake in many of these acts, but you also check off a list of what you like and what you don't like, and you can even make specific notes of how you like it done to you, so both the other talent and director tailor the scene to your interests.) ATM is probably the only act that I've had directors ask me to do. I just make sure that I'm really clean before each anal or dp scene.
With that said, I personally prefer watching porn that emphasis women in a beautiful, sensual way. (Maybe because I'm in a happy, loving relationship and get off on feeling like the goddess of my man, instead of his slut or toy. ) Occasionally, I don't mind being a little rough, like hair pulling, mild bondage and even choking, but that doesn't mean it needs to be hard core. To me, it's more exciting to be playful with those acts. But everyone is different. I think to be in this industry, you have to be a bit of a pervert, so fetishes are very common and are regularly acted out on camera. However, I do find it alarming how common it is to see females in abusive and degrading porn. Some could argue these girls were abused or that Hollywood's acceptance of female abuse over female pleasure have rubbed off on young woman. (Watch "This Film Is Not Yet Rated" to further explore the Hollywood media topic.) There have been recent studies that suggest the media (as well as websites) have a significant effect on young children, which in turn can effect their social interactions. Surfing violent websites linked to violent behavior
I think this topic is the reason why many American women and feminists don't appreciate porn. They automatically think porn is degrading to women because they see these acts. I don't think that these acts should be removed from porn by any means, because there's quite a few women who enjoy this behavior, but I would like to see more beautiful, sensual sex on camera. I would also enjoy seeing more real couples having sex too. Joanna Angel just came out with one "True Fucking Love." Overall, I think porn should explore the rainbow of love, lust, kink and everything in between. Most of the scenes I do in porn focus on the lust and kink. I think love is the scariest sex act for many people because it suddenly makes them vulnerable. It's also very difficult to do in the world of porn because most of the time you're meeting people for the first time and how can you have love for a stranger, or you reserve that kind of sex for your partner off camera. I suppose that's why I think couples would be great for porn; I personally would get off on seeing those scenes. Good chemistry is the biggest turn on.

EveningSky: why do you have 'abusive/degrading'? since when are they even comparable?
it's inaccurate to equate rough sex with abuse. also, degradation and humiliation can be a turn on. you seem to be drawing lines that the performers aren't.
if porn is made by misogynists, it will most likely be misogynistic. it's as simple as that.
you can write out a list of acts and try to label them 'abusive' or 'degrading' if you like, but the misogyny is in the attitude.
why do some guys fuck girls poorly and with the intent to hurt them? because they're cunts.
if i find an actor or director who i feel is a cunt i avoid their product as best i can.

Frankly, I wish there was more "rough" porn available. Even Meatholes and Slap Happy are too tame for my tastes. I've seen posters here refer to "rough" movies by title and I seek them out, but am always disappointed. If anyone can point me to the real rough stuff, I'd be grateful. And by rough, I mean a hitting, slapping, choking, gagging, manhandling, slam fucking, face fucking, fisting free for all where the women is obviously overwhelmed and in over her head.

you're right that few things are less hot and erotic than sex that typically starts with a naked dude (or worse still, 2 or more of them), and is almost entirely centered around his already raging hard-on. the mechanical using (when not outright abusing) of a beautiful female body merely for the self-gratication that can be wrung from its "parts" -- the spitting, slapping, quagging, choking, the ordering, the reliable lack/or paucity of reciprocal oral/foreplay for the girl, the relentless warp speed hammering of a girl into submission, the constant testing of her physical limits, the inevitable genuflecting facial -- it's lame beyond belief.
clearly, it HAS an audience. but my thought on this is that men -- at least in a general sense -- who actually enjoy this kind of stuff constitute a small though VERY avid minority. the folks who watch -- and like -- stuff like that probably watch A LOT OF STUFF LIKE THAT. if they do actually like women, I don't see how they can have had much, if any, positive experience with them.
the brusque, extreme, impersonal nature of it, the fact that it brutally surveys and ravages so much sexual territory in a compressed time frame, the utter objectification of the female probably fulfills their fantasy of what they'd do if they ever actually had a women. it's joyless.

That's been my observation as well.
So.. you don't enjoy the sensation of a cock sliding between your pussy and ass? (i.e. unsanitary nature aside). I've been told by some women it feels really good. They might have lied about it, I dunno. I do think, however, that it would probably be difficult to admit you enjoy a potentially risky act, since there are plenty of health activists around here who will presume you to be ignorant and start their lectures about infections and such. By the way, considering that you did a2p2p in Fresh Flesh, was it something you were asked to do, or did James Deen just improvise on the spot?

I don't know if your BF would be up for it, but you should check out Comstock Films. I've reviewed Marie and Jack, and this is exactly what they do. Real couples, real sex, well filmed.
My only complaint as a customer is that they only give you one scene per DVD.

That would make you pretty normal. I think an addict is someone who can't stop doing something their body wasn't designed for. People are supposed to have sex. More than probably anything else we do besides eat, shit and breathe, we're designed for sex. You're an addict if you snort coke all the time. You're pretty normal if you sit around thinking about fucking women all the time.

One of the reasons I am in porn is because it's a chance to experience some of my fantasies in a relatively safe manner. I did an ass to mouth to pussy to mouth to ass to pussy etc scene last month and really enjoyed it. I know the risks involved but I have to say that part of what I enjoyed about it is the fact that it is dirty, a bit wrong and something I "shouldn't" be doing. I don't remember getting an infection from that particular scene but I'll just say that working in this industry I end up getting infections, sometimes from the cleanest scenes so I just try to make sure that I am as clean as possible and not do things that wouldn't be worth the annoyance later. That scene was. :P
In regards to rough stuff, slapping, hair pulling, choking etc, I LOVE LOVE LOVE that stuff and engage in it on a regular basis in my private life. Getting into porn I have discovered that if the person I'm working with isn't in to it than I don't enjoy it so much and would much rather do a gentle scene with them, and can enjoy that. But if the person I'm with DOES want to take charge and use me then I am almost guaranteed to enjoy the scene, I find a connection with the person, feel the whole scene is more intense and just generally have a blast. It's about connection with the person for me and I find that rough sex brings out this hungry side of me that being caressed doesn't. Don't get me wrong, I love soft touches but there's something about the way I'm wired that makes a hair pull or a slap bring a gleam to my eye.
Obviously this isn't for everyone. I don't expect it to be. However, it frustrates me when I see people saying that no one wants to see this or comparing it to abuse. I know it's human nature to judge but as long as the girl wants to be there then why can't we just appreciate that it's also human nature to be a diverse population and accept that everyone likes different things? To me the most important aspect I look for when watching porn (when I do..) is if the girl is enjoying herself. If there's chemistry then I get turned on whether they're hitting each other, doing anal or not or throwing food at each other while she sucks his cock. Sex for me has always been less about the acts themselves than about sharing an experience with someone. There are certain activities I enjoy more than others but I get considerably less enjoyment out of them if the person I'm with isn't having fun.
just my 2 cents.

For my 2 cents....If a holes like the reviewers at AVN didnt start giving 5 star reviews and awards to every moron who made real ruff stuff a few years ago, producers wouldnt have followed suit feeling this was the only way to get noticed. Made em feel like this was what the consumer wanted. So companies like Max Hardcore, Kahn Tusion, Extreme and others too many to mention made a ton of money making over the edge stuff....all to great reviews....and awards...you can look it up...no one was complaining back then when they stood apart from the competition and were makin boo coo money having preists piss on nuns and fucking lepers in their videos..like the sheep are in most businesses producers and directors followed as not to get left behind in the dust..anal isnt enuff, lets try triple anal, spitting choking and all the other crap they could fill 2hours and 20 minutes of DVD with...that to me was the begining of the end of the adult biz...no more "stars", just willing fuckholes who would do anything on camera for the extra $100-200 bucks....now they hide behind the freedom of speech bullshit rants, knowing full well they were going to bring the heat on the entire industry, all because their entire companies image were build on the shock value of thier videos....

first of all lets adress this whole nonsense of porn addiction
You arent addicted, there is no such thing. You are obsessed or compelled or both but you arent addicted.
More to your question I have been in this biz for over 15 years now and I have seen this progression. I have long said that this industry attracts two types of guys, those who hate women and those who love them, and in that lies your answer. With the barriers to getting into porn ever decreasing for so many years it opened the door to way more people being in the biz than the market could support, When this happens markets tend to segment into vertical markets or niches.
In a sense, led by the misogynistic segment, this particular market broke out into its own niche market. Same as Trannys and others have.
Add to that a crop of male talent that is basically homosexual and it becomes an even larger niche. Any good psych major knows that abusive and violent behaviour towards women is just a step away from homosexuality, and in the case of so much of the male talent today they started in gay porn to begin with.
But bottom line is the consumer, no matter the proclivity or or misogynism of the person who made the porn, if there isnt a consumer to purchase it, it will disappear. So maybe the better question is why the porn consuming public seems to want this type of material.
On the one hand you could say that the anti porn crowd is right, in that it takes increasingly more violent material to satisfy the obsession and there could be some truth to that when applied to this genre.
Equally likely is the resentment that the 20-40 year old male seems to feel towards having his alpha standing usurped within his day to day life. Women are increasingly more aggressive and more successful and challenge his position in society. That resentment is reflected in how he chooses to escape from that reality.
Just some food for thought....I dont claim to have the answers but I can come up with some pretty educated guesses

Women as participants, or women as consumers/viewers??
Since most porn is made for and watched by men, are we then watching degrading porn because the female cast has a yen for that type of behaviour, the director or the male cast generally dislike women, and they get off being rough with them?

I think it's off to think of rough sex as inherently misogynistic or whatever. It's like men are no longer entitled to their perfectly natural sexual aggression, that it's being denied. And hey maybe that's why it's quite popular in porn...
And maybe that's why some women love the business, because of the lack of victorian virtues.

I'm always sceptical of claims of 'perfectly natural' anything, the old chicken or the egg question. I don't mind watching some rough stuff if its well done and the women are into it but I don't really have any interest in slapping or choking a woman during sex in my personal life.
It does seem that the industry does attract sexually submissive women, that's why the aggressive and dominant likes of Sandra Romain are so rare, I would suspect that a woman who didn't enjoy submission or wasn't willing to fake it would not have as much success in the industry.

surely there's a difference between frantic fucking and stomping on a girl's head.
also, how do you know what constitutes natural human sex? there is no record of this. sex as an act is practised.

Yet another thread claiming that porn is too "degrading" and "abusive." We can never have too many of these discussions. Considering that this is the first and only post made by the author of this thread, and that it discusses an issue that has already been debated here ad nauseam, I'm somewhat suspicious of the author's motives in posting this thread.
Nonetheless, I have no idea why there are people who think that all porn has to be the same, or that there's somehow something wrong with porn "pushing the envelope." Are all other forms of entertainment in other genres all the same? In the mainstream sector, there are comedies, drama, horror, romantic, etc. However, there are those who think that there should only be one type of porn, as if everyone who watches porn all have the same type of fantasies or tastes.
I will say that my porn tastes are mainly all over the place. I can enjoy an average regular vanilla lovey-dovey sex scene just as much as I can enjoy a rough hardcore, head-stopping, throat-gagging, face-slapping, anal fuckfest. I don't see anything wrong with that. For this reason, as I have said before, porn needs people like Max Hardcore, Khan Tusion, Extreme Associates, etc., just as it much as it needs Vivid or Playboy. It should cater to all tastes. Personally, if there's something in porn I prefer not to see, then I will avoid it.

Because we're animals. Ever seen a male lion do it? Neckbiting and all of that. This is purely instinct, and it's as basic and primitive in human beings. Maybe it's not natural to sleep? Maybe we invented sleep so we wouldn't have to work 24 hours a day? Why not?

^ I've never seen stomping on a girl's head, I've seen feet placed on a girl's head though, which to me is about domination and little else. Most of the so called rough isn't very rough imo, it just looks that way to the untrained eye.

Being a woman in porn period is degrading. It doesn't matter if she just does regular sex scenes or gets beat down. Could you imagine your daughter, sister, or mother sleeping with strange men for money? If you really would have no problem with that, then more power to ya. Being a whore is degrading, no matter what you think.
All you guys who cheer on these girls and don't think all porn is degrading, lets see if you are singing the same tune, when your baby girl grows up to be be one. You find out your mom or sister is one, screwing any guy put in front of her. Lets see if your cheering her on or even a fan of porn still. They don't know who they're sleeping with the next day, week, or month. Forget the abuse, You don't think that's degrading in itself? wow.
I like xxx as long as my close women aren't involved ;)
A hypocrite and proud of it ;)

possibly, but what you've said misses the issue of instinct. with regards to your instinct argument, i can see how you'd include fast, animalistic thrusting into your theory, but how do you account for contrived acts like standing on someone's head? this is the question i'm putting to you. how do things like ATM, large objects and breath play fit into your theory?
i don't think they do.

I do think, however, that it would probably be difficult to admit you enjoy a potentially risky act, since there are plenty of health activists around here who will presume you to be ignorant and start their lectures about infections and such. By the way, considering that you did a2p2p in Fresh Flesh, was it something you were asked to do, or did James Deen just improvise on the spot?"
>Ass-to-pussy-to-ass isn't a bad sensation by any means, but it is rather dirty, even if your ass is technically clean. Some women don't get infections from this, but yes, I have and it was unpleasant. Despite the health risks, I do partake in this act in some of my anal and dp scenes because I feel like it adds to the performance, but I wouldn't practice this in my personal life. And yes, the a2p2a with James Dean was not discussed or planned. (Besides knowing that I was doing anal with him that day, nothing in that scene was planned.)
>Overall, I've done many hard core scenes to date. I've been dominated in Kink.com's Whipped Ass and Sex & Submission by both men and women, done plenty of anal scenes and a few dp scenes that envolve a2p2a and ATM, done many forced blow jobs with deep throating, occasionally been choked, rarely been slapped in the face repeatedly, regularly had my hair pulled and often appeared as a young college-age girl being taken advantage of. It's not that I don't see a place in porn for all of these types of acts and scenarios, but after doing these types of scenes for awhile, I begin want a change of pace. I'm a porn star and I want to watch porn, but none of these scenarios really do it for me. I'm probably not your typical porn viewer (nor your typical porn star), but I feel that I can speak for many of my non-porn girlfriends when I say that there should be more sensual porn in the market. I think it would be incredibly hot to see a porn about tantric sex, incorporating slow sexual body undulations (like the type I do as a belly dancer) and extended orgasmic techniques. It's funny ... I tell all the companies I work with that I'm a belly dancer, but no one in the industry really wants to see the show. They might have me shake my ass for the camera and do the typical softcore tease, but never have they been daring enough to really explore the seductive dance on camera with me. It's disappointing because I feel most aroused and dominate when I belly dance; It's my opportunity for me to manipulate the sexual atmosphere of the room. I suppose as an artist, I'm disappointed in the lack of art portrayed in porn these days. I know business is business, but come on - let's break some boundaries in another direction and give everyday housewives and young, impressionable women porn that encourages female empowerment and dominance without violence. I think many women are very intimidated by all the hardcore sex in porn (and I'm sure just as many get turned on by it). Celebrating the "inner goddess" might not be a big hit among the men, but I feel confident it would open up the closed-off-ladies-of-their-lives into the world of porn, which might, in turn, bring about a more positive sex life. Just a thought.

>I've actually had male talent try to do this in one of my scenes and I told him to get his fucking foot off my face. I was rather offended.

"Being a woman in porn period is degrading.
A hypocrite and proud of it ;)"
>If there was a genre of porn that celebrated female sexuality in a more positive, loving way, would you still feel the same? Would it be so shameful to watch it? Would you still feel like a hypocrite? What do you think could be done in the industry to change that perception of female degradation?

Porn may be all over the place, but even if you go back to underground porn (with no cast names or production company name on stag loops made 50-80 years ago in a number of countries, it did not have the rough and humiliating content it does not. Many were funny and had plot lines.
Well, what has changed? Noone has explained it.
These people were producing movies that in any country were illegal to do so, and could bring you prison term is caught.
Now eveything is out in the open, and you have all this rough stuff. Sure I can go get vanilla sex from Vivid, Wicked, Adam & Eve, but everythone else is producing movies with some degrading and fetish sex scenes. Why is that? Is it the general public that really enjoys it, or the ones that star and oroduce it that is really the "problem"?

It just occurred to me that Candida Royale probably thought as you do when she started her Femme. Since 1984 she made what.. a dozen or so movies, and now I think she makes trendy, ergonomic vibrators and occasionally directs for Adam & Eve. Actually, I think you might like her movies.

"I suppose as an artist, I'm disappointed"
As an artist?
You know, it doesn't matter what someone does for a living, they always want to feel like what they do is important.

^ WTF?
You don't think sensual belly dancing to be an art form? You don't think being a porn star is being a connection to other people's fantasies, which is exactly the same thing Hollywood deals in? What's so wrong about anyone feeling that their job has importance? C'mon, don't make me think that your nom de ADT should be CloudyGreyShowers, instead.

Thank all participants for your responses.
My motive in posting is as written.
Why is there so much of such woman damaging/degrading/humiliating porn?
Why do the producers usually hid the true content in the cover picture and text, instead of coming out and showing and saying exactly what they did with these innocent/beautiful woman on depicted on the cover?
"In this film you can watch actor so-and-so trust his viagratized giant penis 120 times/minute into all three orifices of this innocent beautiful woman to transform her into a piece of female human garbage, with random orifice order, for sustained period of 15-20 minutes, until she is in pain, infected, is bleeding, is emotionally traumatized, has torn tissues, is rendered infertile for the rest of her life, and may go on to develop laryngeal/anal/cervical cancer in 5-10 years."
And let the market place decide if this is the type of porn which the general porn buying public wishes to buy and financially support.
Guarantied, there are many men (and woman) who enjoy this type of porn.
Can someone help me understand to which company can I turn to find erotic porn of the type I seek, without such woman debasing motives?
To each his own. I am not judging.
I have met individuals who have shared with me that they get a hard on with the though of machine gunning down a group of my kind standing in a row naked.

I have met sadists who would injure and kill if they did not still possess "some control" and decency, or some fear of legal consequence, and are sexual aroused by such "fantasies."
There is killer porn for those who really desire the ultimate in female dominance and destruction. I have never seen it. I do not wish to see it. But I am convinced that it exists, and met someone who did see it, as well as other viewers who were sexually aroused and masturbated while watching it.
To each his or her own.
Am I being unfair? Am I being extreme? Perhaps? I do not know. Hitting, pulling hair. Stepping on a female head/face, spitting on, slapping, degrading, whatever else. You have all probably seen this. What is the true motive towards the female actress? What is the next step? Those who think that this all OK, you tell me? I can only speak for myself, not for anyone else. I do not know?!
My gripe is, why are the vendors not open about this?

Why can we not have a rating at this website in the "Reviews" section for "woman debasing/humiliating/injuring content" with ratings 1-5/5???? That way, those who seek such porn can find it, and those such as myself who wish to avoid it, can make an informed purchase decision.
Where can I find porn with the technical quality of now, with erotic content, without such content? For myself, that is all I want.
In addition, I am trying to understand, who the porn producers are producing for?
Do 90% of the men (and woman) who view porn or frequent this web forum enjoy woman debasing/humiliating/injuring content???
Because it seems to me that 90% of the current porn seems, more or less, to contain this type of content!
Again, I want to thank all discussion participants for your input and honesty, and look forward to more answers to these questions.
Yours,
ES

Probably for the same reason that, 50-80 years ago, movies did not have as many explosions, or stunts, or sex scenes, or obscene dialogue as movies do now. Society was much different back then, so much so that the mere act of appearing nude on film was taboo enough. As society changes to become more sexually liberated, porn has had to change to also become more liberated. What was too sexually taboo to even discuss openly 50 years ago is now regular everyday conversation in schools, offices, homes, and the media. For this reason, porn has had to continually push the envelope to remain more taboo than mainstream society, which is exactly what porn is supposed to be. That's the whole fantasy of it. Plus, porn today is 1,000 times better than anything made from 50 years ago. So there is not even a comparison.
It changed because times have changed. The audience has changed. Tastes have changed. Personally, if I want to see something funny or with a plot line, then I'll watch a comedy or go to Blockbuster. I watch porn because I want to see straight fucking. I couldn't care less about a plot.
By the way things are going now, it doesn't seem as if much has changed in that regard.
I think you're exaggerating. I watch porn, and the porn I watch is basically the mainstream stuff you can find on any porn store shelf or most websites. Where is all this "rough" and "abusive" content everyone keeps talking about? To hear some people tell it, you would think that porn store shelves are lined with snuff films or actual rape footage. To the contrary, I've been noticing that even anal sex is on the decline in porn, let alone real "rough" sex, which has almost become extinct now. Sure, there are movie which cater to certain fetishes, or scenes where the male talent is more sexually/physically aggressive, which is actually the way it is in real life. But the stuff that I see many people complaining about is far from "rough" or "abusive." Domination and abuse are not the same thing. Plus, it spices up what would be an otherwise dull porn market. As they say, variety is the spice of life.
It's not a "problem." It is a very vocal minority that seems to think it is a problem. To find out if the general porn-viewing public really enjoys, I would just say look at how quickly these movies disappear from store shelves. As for the producers, I think the best pornographers are those who make the type of product that they themselves also enjoy, instead of making something that they really don't like only to sell. Based on that, I would have to say that the best pornographers in this genre would have to enjoy making this type of porn just as much as the consumer enjoys watching it.

Men who sleep with lots of women are cool, its a real mans goal in life.
Women who do it are whores. What a woman has is much more valuable than what a man has. Men give up all their riches, glory, just for a womans pussy, but then you have porn women who give it away, in front of the world, for a few 100 dollars.
I'm pretty sure you know why it's much different with men, anyone with common sense knows why. Again, Just imagine your mom, sister, or daughter out there and you would think it was degrading to. You would feel ashamed of her and embarrassed.
