1. Could you get infected with the HIV virus by having oral sex (without condom)
2. what about anal sex without condom? how risky is it?

anal sex without a condom is the absolute most dangerous thing you can do in terms of HIV risk.

the risk is greatly diminished with oral sex, but it's still there. transmission through fellatio is considered very rare, but plausible.

I believe, getting HIV virus by having unprotected oral sex is still possible but unlikely. Your changes increase if your have open sores, cuts or bleeding in your mouth.

Unprotected anal sex is a death wish, in my opinion.

Intrestingly enough though, the changes for males to contract HIV are far less than females. Infact, I don't know the exact number, but the chances of a straight, non IV drug using male are stupidly low.

There is no danger of acquiring HIV from unprotected anal sex if neither person has HIV. If you know your partner to be healthy and have a monogamous relationship, no worries.

I remember when AIDS was the headline story of the time. Seemed like every night, it was the top story. They had me so scared, I didn't even want to jack off for fear of giving myself something.

well obviously, if you and your partner have only ever had sex with each other, there is no risk. but i think we talking casual sex here.

it would be great if you could get AIM blood work on every person you are about to have sex with, but the truth is nobody is 100% about anybody.

the risk is always there, it is about minimizing that risk. and certain things, like unprotected anal sex, dramatically increase the risk.

The risk of HIV infection hinges on live virus in body fluid (blood or semen) transfer from the infected partner to the victim. Saliva is not a good carrier of the virus; however, in the case of sores, blisters, or cuts, it facilitates blood or semen transfer. Anal intercourse without a condom is the worst possible risk for the recipient: it is almost a guarantee of infection.
