Hi all, I've not been on this site for awhile, but I figure, you guys could help me with this if anyone could.

I'm 21, and up until 3 weeks ago, I'd never had the opportunity to have sex. I finally meet this great girl, we get along really well, and she LOVES sex.

Anyway, the first time we tried to have sex(you'd figure I'd be ready to blow by this age), we were drinking and fooling around for most of the night, and I was "ready" all night long you could say. When it came time to actually have sex...no go. I went totally limp. We tried everything to get it up again.

The next time we tried, we didnt' wait as long and she gave me a BJ(she didn't "finish me off") and then when I grabbed the condom to put on, I could feel it softening up, and by the time I got the rubber on, and was in position, it was only half hard. She pulled the rubber off, and gave me another BJ to try and get it up again. She got it hard again, but when I went for the rubber again, it went down again.

I'm sure nerves have something to do with it, but I've also got soem crazy self esteem issues going on as well.

Does anyone have any advice? Tips? Stories?

The girl said it was alright, one of her exes had the same problem until something just "clicked" one night.

Also, it's not like I'm "afraid" of the female anatomy. I felt bad that I couldn't perform, so I went down for almost 30 minutes, she said it was the 2nd best she's ever had, and that since it was my 1st time trying, I can only get better.

So...advice?

Welcome Y2J, my advice is simply to relax. It sounds like a common case of performance anxiety. You're dick's thinking "THIS IS IT! FINALLY!" and freaks it's self out.

Just relax and know it will all happen naturally.

Enjoy, and remember to protect yourself.

I'd say not to drink. I know drinking can really screw it up for me, kinda like that Dead Kennedy's song - "Too Drunk to Fuck". Even a mild buzz. Also, any medications? SSRI antidepressants (e.g., Prozac, Zoloft, Paxil, Celexa), atypical antidepressants (e.g., Effexor), anxiolytics (e.g., Klonopin), opioids (e.g., Percocet, Vicodin), and so on.

I'm not at all saying you take these things, but just in case for information. I have to take Klonopin and Effexor, so it took awhile to adapt to their sexual side effects.

Y2J,

Try having her put the condom on you. Sometimes putting a condom on seems like such a clinical move that it kills the mood. Also are you using good condoms? Condoms have come a long way - try out some different brands that might not be as harsh / constrictive.

and I second both lunacy and cognex

Try using those new Inspiral condoms...
They are roomier at the tip for more sensitivity. Also, Pleasure Plus condoms are good as well.
