People can say really unfortunate things and it can make you wonder why you're bothering. At other times you are trying to have a dialogue with someone and you realize they're just trying to upset a forum thread... I've just changed the way I deal with the forums, because I like to talk to fans and to hear what people are into and what turns them on or off...I just like to talk in general. I would never starve off my booty, but I think every girl who gets naked for a living has anxieties about the way she looks when she's being folded into the pile-driver position. PS. I shot something new for Evil Angel, this time for Manuel Ferrara. If I could only work for Evil Angel directors I would. Every director I've worked with out of that stable has been really into what they do. When people care it makes it a lot more fun. It's feels like being a team member on a heist or something. I wanted to work with Brooklyn Lee for over a year and it turns out I got her in one of her last scenes. This scene was amazing, my only regret was that we couldn't be wilder. ^ I guess if you're going to share screen time with a penis, it may as well be Manuel Ferrara's. It's fun to do something unexpected sometimes. Last year I made out with Chad Alva onscreen for Dana Vespoli in Love Hurts 2. Wide Open is obviously very different from the kind of stuff I normally do. It felt weird to wear that much makeup, but I loved getting to watch twi great performers go at it in person. A fact which seems to have escaped many porn fans, and even many people who work in the industry, is that there currently isn't any real danger of the US Government prosecuting pornographers for obscenity. Under the current administration, the US Department of Justice is no longer going after porn, except for child pornography. In fact, the federal task force which was created by the Bush administration to pursue obscenity charges against pornographers was disbanded in the spring of 2011. And, to the best of my knowledge, not one single new obscenity charge has been brought against pornographers by the US government since Eric Holder took office as US Attorney General in 2009. Of course, there are still county and city governments which are trying to shut down porn production, such as the recent efforts in LA County to mandate condoms and the efforts of certain Florida sheriffs to shut down porn production in their counties, but local level interference doesn't really pose a sufficient threat to a company like Brazzers that it would make them change their content guidelines. I'm afraid that we have to look deeper than the now empty threat of obscenity charges if we want to find the reasons why Brazzers has gotten rid of one of their most popular sites, removed well over 500 scenes from their network, and now will no longer film rough sex or anything which is even remotely edgy. Edit: Oh, and the trailer for your upcoming Brazzers scene with Brooklyn Lee does look very hot. Not one new obscenity charge has been brought against pornographers by the US DOJ since Eric Holder took office in 2009. As you yourself pointed out, Ira Isaacs was first brought to trial in 2008. And it was the Bush administration's obscenity task force which brought those charges, the same task force which has since been disbanded. Isaac's 2012 conviction was on those original charges filed in 2008, plus some additional charges which were thrown in by the prosecutors in 2011. But that's how the court system works. Once the charges have been filed it can take years, and new charges can be added, as long as it's still an open prosecution. None of that supports an argument that there is any present danger of prosecution of pornographers by the current administration. And yes, I can seriously expect studios, both large and small, to feel fairly safe from federal prosecution at the present time. That danger may arise again in the future, but there's no way to know that. For the time being, federal prosecution on obscenity charges is not a realistic concern, and any studios which are still tying their own hands over that worry are jumping at shadows. Edit: It occurs to me (a bit late perhaps) that I've sort of hijacked Sovereign's thread with this, although, in fairness to myself, I was replying to a point which she raised when I got started on this. However, if this conversation is to continue, we should probably move it to another thread from here on out. Or we could just let it go. Either one works for me.
