Reviewers Recommend Working Girls 3 (Reality Junkies) - review by Captain Jack Director: Mike Quasar Starring: Danny Mountain, Derrick Pierce, Anissa Kate, Codey Steele, Adira Allure, Elizabeth Skylar, Taylor Wild, Jay Romero. Read review
It is possible, of course. However, it is a fantasy I can't begin to comprehend. Is it supposed to amuse? Haw haw! She didn't know she wuz gonna git spit on! just convinces me that the viewer is a jackass.
Is it supposed to degrade? I can't say that makes me feel any better about the intended audience.
Edited to add that it doesn't endear the director(s) who would cater to such audiences to me, either.
OK. But why are you zooming in on this particular incident, which I've never even seen? I don't even know who the performer in question is.
And for what it's worth, I said I agree with you about that. I didn't hear anyone say they like it when the girls are taken by surprise.
I believe the viewer generally tends to assume that all of the necessary agreements and negotiations have taken place before the camera starts rolling. Thus, when someone says they enjoy watching rough sex, they assume the girl has already agreed. Viewers are being blamed for the sins of directors here. Why would someone want to hold a viewer, who only wants to see fantasy, responsible for the actions of an unethical director? Because we watched and enjoyed? We were under the impression that the talent was working willingly and with foreknowledge of (basically) what was to happen. If that happens to not be so in a particular instance, well I'm sorry but I didn't film the thing.
And more to the point, how do we know what the motivations of any of these people are?

That's really what I meant by "everyone has their respective buttons." I'm not into spitting (hate it in fact) at all, but that doesn't mean it doesn't have it's audience. My wife finds facials utterly degrading, but enjoys having me cum anyplace else on her body. I've seen my fair share of surprise facials but there are few on these boards that would weigh facials as "worse" than spitting.
I'm not arguing that people don't have a right to cater to people's fantasies, at least to some extent. For example, I'm not OK with extending that to snuff flicks.
I am concerned when that fantasy requires that somebody should be unaware of what's going to happen to them. It would be nice to assume that the 'surprise' is always discussed and agreed to beforehand, but I don't feel that is an assumption we can make. Furthermore, if it is a fantasy, I'm not sure why we should be required to do so. With DVD technology and BTS, it seems easy enough to let the audience in on the discussions about what's going to happen in the scene.
It would actually be pretty nifty if the BTS footage gave us the "inside scoop" on what the scene entailed. That way, those that want the "fantasy" can get it, those that want the real story can get it from the BTS.
But frankly....I think that's asking a bit too much from this industry.
Well, it isn't like the whole industry would have to do it. What I'm discussing is the benefit of doing it where questions of consent are raised by the action in a scene. In most of the movies that I have seen that question has never arisen.
James Deen , Talon and Trinity Post according to IAFD I believe the spitter was Talon not sure though , director was Chico Wang
the main point is that I don't like such thing and they're not supposed to be in a movie unless clearly stated anyway after that I'm done with the series and Chico and possibly with both performers
Again...viewers don't and can't know that. And they shouldn't even have to wonder. I think the industry could regulate itself in this regard if it chose to. I must emphasize that women are not powerless in 2007.
I don't see why some kind of "porn oversight committee" can't be established in which the industry would voluntarily police itself. Studios and producers that voluntarily complied with the rules and regulations agreed upon would put a "seal of approval" of sorts on their product. The consumer would know how to distinguish between acting and real abuse. The "committee" would be made up of actual industry insiders . Performers would be included and have a say.
I don't understand why something like this wasn't done long ago. It would be an effort, no doubt. But if it was successful, it could clear up so much nonsense and confusion. If the industry doesn't regulate itself (and that requires organization and structure), the government will, no doubt.
I don't think we have a choice. It's either that or not watch porn. To assume in the other direction, well, we could assume that none of it is being done willingly and the girls are being dragged off the streets. How do I know that isn't the case? I don't. I live halfway across the country from where most porn is made. These girls could be European sex slaves for all I know. But I assume that there is at least some ethics in the business and I have to believe that people would try and improve their circumstances in a free country if they were that displeased.
I always found those interviews incredibly pedantic. I suppose as long as it's in the BTS. But then, a lot of people don't even bother with BTS stuff. How many digits should be given to proving the girls weren't raped on every DVD? Is this what porn will have to come to? An extra disc with every porn movie just to prove to each and every viewer that everything was consensual?
It starts with this kind of thing. Pretty soon, somebody is going to question why she's frowning when the cum splashes across her face. I suppose that will require a 15 minute behind the scenes documentary so she can assure everyone that she is fine, her face didn't melt and she agreed to do it. And then, the critics will say "Well, how do we know there isn't someone there offscreen, coercing her? How do we know they didn't drug her?" And I suppose they would be right. How do we know anything is what it appears to be? We don't we just have to take the world around us at face value or we spend our entire lives second guessing our every move. That's more thought than I'm prepared to put into jacking off, frankly. This should all be taken care of on the business end. The consumer can only assume it has been.
I've never seen a "scene contract," so excuse me if I'm Mr. Obvious here.....
But for a given scene, does the agreement typically spell out exactly which physical acts are going to happen as well as a scripted play-by-play of when to expect same?
Or is it more generic and reads something like this:
"Rough Sex Scene" no anal/insertion of anything into anus oral/vaginal sex only facial cumshot, one load, swallowing optional Other acts of "rough sex" may include hair pulling, spitting, flat-handed slaps on the ass, thighs, breasts, face and twisting arms behind back. Off-limits acts: (performer fills in here) Price: $1100
If the above were true (I'm most certain it's a silly approximation of an actual contract), then you could still maintain SOME element of "surprise" and true improvisational performance as opposed to a director saying off camera "OK now, line up her face for the spit! Hey sweetie, there's another $100 bucks in it if you open your mouth for it!"
Then again, for all I know, this is EXACTLY how such agreements are done in advance. The directors (well the good ones anyways) want spontaneity in the performance, so they contract for a "type" of scene, add in a bunch of "may includes" and then the two adult performers sign up and agree on same. Now when the time comes, the performers....perform.
The problem here is that we, the viewers, NEVER get to know what was contracted for/agreed upon before the scene. Even if we could get the details in a BTS segment, I doubt most directors would take the time/energy to include it.
A symptom of modern porn unfortunately. Too many jocks in porn these days. Most pornos look like the participants are spoiling for a fight rather than a good time these days. Very aggressive - Swearing, spitting, hitting, choking etc. Call it Porn Rage! It certainly isn't the least bit attractive thats for sure.
Again...this is mostly a result of it being done by people who know it sells but who don't really understand it. You might as well try to sell foot fetish material featuring people who don't have a foot fetish. It won't work. I don't really have a foot fetish myself but I can tell the difference between porn made by a real foot fetishist and porn made by someone who's trying to simulate foot fetish material.
This material can be erotic. Even people who are into it probably aren't going to enjoy the kind that's described in the above post. Unfortunately, it sells enough that they can keep making more.
There's a line called I Love it Rough if I want such material I'll buy it but if I buy a DVD entitled "No Swallowing Allowed" I'm not supposed to find something different in it , this has nothing to do with your statement about a "may happen" in a contract.
BTW would you sign any contract with uncertain terms? I certainly won't
I think it is probably safe to say that many people take things for granted the first time they sign a contract. It is much easier with age and experience to realize that a lot of assumptions are being made which the contract really needs to clarify.
For example, a band I was in once signed a contract with a record company on the assumption that they wanted us to make a record. Seems a reasonable assumption, wouldn't you say? It turns out that wasn't really the case, though. They just wanted to take us off the market.
I've bought real estate countless times with uncertain terms. You can never know whether or not mineral deposits will be found on the property, but they are almost always owned by someone other than the property owner. Same for easement rights. There is no such thing as a "full disclosure" contract out there in many fields. Porn may or may not be one of them.
Along the same lines, however, I sincerely doubt that "normal" b/g scenes include every position that will be used during the shoot.
It wasn't Talon. It was Steven French who intentionally spit on Trinity Post's eyes in the middle of the scene. I was so pissed off after he did that, I didn't use him again after that. It killed the energy of the scene when someone does that bullshit. Trust me, Trinity can take a lot and loves the spitting but at least James Deen can aim and make it part of the scene. The intentional spit to the eye almost made me want to hurt the frenchy.
Trinity is a great performer I know it that's why I picked up that DVD in the FIRST place , but you saw it by yourself the scene was ruined and I was under the right impression it wasn't programmed that way.
Everytime I shoot a scene, I ask the girls what's on their 'no' list. Certain girls like Lorilei Lei who gets pummelled in a bondage arena off-camera love it super rough. Other girls don't like the rough stuff but prefer passion. It's totally dependent on the girl's wishes especially if I just met her for the first time. I'm super meticulous about the girl's do's and don'ts but at the same time, I want the performers to be creative with what they do instead of the typical bj, doggy, mish, pop. I hate surprises unless they are for fun and giggles. Spitting on a girl's eye intentionally was uncalled for. I warned Steven French about that before the scene too, that I didn't want her putting him on her 'no'-list because of his antics and it was difficult booking him because of a series of 'no'-lists he was on from the agencies I called.
Every scene is so dependent on the male performers that some could get away with it and others cannot. The best male performers out there have a pulse on what the girls enjoy or disagree with yet can perform at the level the director wishes. I can be a cut-less shooter with no limited editing if I want to but some fucked up surprise in the middle of a scene that makes the girl almost want to quit can cost me money and pisses me off almost as much as the girl.
Yes, there are some girls out there that are not all there but that doesn't mean I have to get a bad reputation because a male performer did some fucked up thing. I simply will not tolerate it. I let the male talent after the incident know how pissed off I was and don't test me while he was blabbering on about how it was an accident. Bullshit, proof was in the camcorder. I still kept it in the scene because I'm a firm believer in reality porn and it also explains why the scene kind of fizzled afterwards. This also explains why my BTS generally shows the real people and not some fantasy illusion. I love to break that barrier.
I for one appreciate the candor in your reply. It is as I've suspected....there is no such thing as a "fully scripted" scene between the performers. You let them be professional and control their individual movements/actions/reactions but at the same time expect them to be professional with one another.
Sometimes, as it appears in the case with French, they aren't professional.
I'm not trying to rag on Steven French. That is not my intention; however, he can have his moments like everyone to be a dick. He's generally a pretty solid performer but I stopped using him after the above mentioned incident. Porn is not some fantasyland. These are real people and, like the real world, you don't always get along with everyone. However, I do anticipate that the people in the movies do act professionally when I press "Record". I may be a jackass sometimes, but I try to create an atmosphere where I can get the best scene out of the girl where it's fun to be a 'whore' which explains why I was able to get so many double anals for lines I did with girls I knew personally.
Any person that is a nuisance to my scenes simply will not work for me again, whether it be male or female performer. I believe most directors think the same way. I've had scenes where it looked like the girl was cracked out and I had to cancel it which cost me money. I've had scenes where it looked like the guy was partying with no sleep and couldn't achieve wood which cost me money. Professionalism and creativity amongst performers is key. I will never do anything that would throw money in the trash. Which explains why the performers who last the longest in this business are professional in their behavior and know that the scene comes first above all else if they want longetivity.
I think maybe they need an adrenline rush during sex and that is why they do it. It is a no on my list...if we did not have variety porn would be boring so go ahead and do your spitting, slapping choking thing hope it sells
Everything was dependent on what the primary producer wanted. When I worked at Extreme Associates, they wanted controversy so I made that happen. When I ran Meatholes, the controversy sold and the rough edge made the brand. When I worked at Diabolic, they wanted real hardcore gonzo which is what I provided at the time.
Lately, I've been going vanilla which may surprise alot of you. It's nice to have chemistry in a one on one level which different shooting tactics to make things work out. Although I don't want my name out there anymore until my own stuff comes out, you will recognize my voice.
Again, I've suddenly shyed away from the choking, rough stuff and super hardcore stuff I've been known for in the past. One of the last scenes I shot was with Manuel Ferrara and Mia Rose and the scene was amazing because Manuel made the girl cum all over the place yet it had an edge. Performers like him are an absolute joy to work with because they have the pulse of the girl, scanning their emotions to get what they want. In fact, in a scene such as this example, I am no longer a director, just a camera man because I don't have to think. The performers do all the thinking for me and keep it varied and interesting yet sexy and hot. But there is only one Manuel, one Steve Holmes, one James Deen, one Michael Stefano. They're ability to improvise and add something above and beyond the scene to make the girl feel comfortable yet get an amazing scene is all part of the joy of shooting. Especially when I don't have to think, just point.
I remember when I was shooting little Kat about a year ago and asked her what kind of scene she wanted. She asked specifically for a rough scene. She personally requested it. Now I love the girl but she's like 90 pounds paired up with James Deen and Steve Holmes. Numerous times, I'd lock in close to the penetration and asked her if she was doing fine. She gave me the thumbs up. There is a reason when, if things get too intense or I get a negative vibe, I tell the females especially to use my code word which is, look at the camera and yell "STOP".
I'm actually glad I'm shooting more Vanilla sex now and making the setups more reality. But I will always shoot for what the producer wants and, for myself, will always shoot what I want which can be either a fun, joking, shoot with girls having happy-go-lucky sex or go balls out and make it intense.
It is all up to the producer; however, if you're the boss of the whole realm, the possibilities are up to you. Jeez, we all shoot the same porn, alot of directors I admire especially the Evil Angel boys because you can tell they greatly care about every intricacies of the scene. But I'm really an Internet shooter so we'll see how that goes.
One bad apple should not be blamed on me but I was the director and take full responsibility though I was stunned that we had to take a 10 minute break after the spitting incident as I took the male talent to the side and excorciated him for his stupid behavior. It's a waste of time and potentially a money losing venture if the girl doesn't recover and the scene kind of dies. That I will not tolerate. Trinity was a real trooper and recovered quick. Thank God. After all, I try to make each scene count but what was my choices? Cancel the scene because some bullshit happens and no one gets paid except the kill fees from Steven French to the talent. It's all about money and making scenes to the best of my ability.
I really believe that it sells because at its core is sex. As stated here, many are not into such acts but they are into seeing two people have sex. So many just overlook or deal with the over the top antics.
I like slapping with domination in rough sex G/G scenes. check out the scene with Jewel Denyle and Francesca Le.loved watching Jewel dominate and slap around Francesca Le. i do not like seeing men slap around women. Edited by - babby on 6/21/2007 8:48:24 PM
You resurrected a 4 month old tread just to say this?! How old are you... 12? [/quote] 12? Are we talking centimeters or inches here... Look Cheif, that's just the way I roll, jump on the bandwagon, you'll feel better.
I've done two scenes with Steven French and found him cooperative, hard-working and helpful. He does like it rough, but so do several other men! 99% of male performers are extremely polite and sweet and will ask me what they are/aren't allowed to do with me. If I feel uncomfortable or sore or tired, I simply stop, stand up and ask for a break. The performers are always in control of the situation and are free to stop the action at any given time. I know of one girl who punched a male performer in the balls after he dick slapped her face so hard, it left a mark. Needless to say, that was the last time he did that.

Rough sex is hot if both people consent to it. Spitting is kinda gross in any case, but in some scenes is hot, choking is really hot, but not making the girl pass out. instead of going for the shock factor in the scenes, why dont the directors go for hot lusty passionate sex. double anal is not passionate, rough dps are def not passionate and throat fucking, well theres no way a girl can like that, its just to kinda show that the girl can take it. im pretty sure they dont do it in their regular life. How about going for whats hot instead of whats gonna shock the masses. or myabe what would turn the female performer on as well as the male?
Diabolic has the spitting, choking, slapping, toe sucking, prying the womans asshole apart until you can see her intestines and the especially stupid hand in the mouth stuff(who do these guys think they are mankind from WWF?)in practically every movie now and as a result they won't be getting a penny from me. I don't care if the women do like this stuff it's degrading and young people who watch this stuff end up thinking it's normal. What's sexy about seeing some ugly guy's nasty ass saliva go into some beautiful woman's face or mouth? The circus stuff needs to stop and if this becomes any more prevelent I'll be done with mainstream porn altogether. Thank goodness for directors like Jules Jordan who tone down most of this stuff in their movies.
And these producers should at least be courteous enough to their customers to have some sort of notification on the covers that these movies contain this classless trash in it so that people who get off on this stuff(there seems to be plenty) can go right to it while people who like to see people treat each other like human beings instead of waste disposals can go elsewhere.
I love female spitting. I hate male spitting with the intensity of 1000 suns. Any movie with male spitting gets instantly thrown away or deleted. Unfortunately, about 90% of porn seems to feature this disgusting practice. That's the exact reason why I stopped buying and started illegally downloading all my porn. Men slapping women annoys me too. I'm not big on misogyny, unless it's the girl-on-girl kind. Edit: I just noticed this was a two-year old thread. Oh, well. I'll take any opportunity to bitch about male spitting. Edited by - boob enthusiast on 8/8/2009 8:02:38 PM
f2f spitting is hot. So is the rough stuff only when the receiver is comfortable. And I agree mostly with everybody else here, not too fond on males doing it. I only watch porn for pleasure. And just the other day I was watching this old Hell Fire Sex scene with Alektra Blue getting abused well beyond her boundries. One site described it as "they definitely did a number on her". And I noticed I couldn't even get a boner. I was so turned off. For me that's impossible when watching a hot pornstar so that for me really indicated I hate porn abuse to the extreme. I always felt disgusted with a limp dick after seeing things like that.

After reading the discussions on this topic about porn scenes with spitting and slapping and our likes and dislikes, what are we after in porn. In one corner we have the kiss and cuddle lovers porn and in the other corner we have the spank and hard fuck porn. In most scenes there is something I don't care for, maybe it's the girl or the guy or even tatoo's, anal and outdoor scenes, no scene is perfect. Like Jack Spratt and his wife, one likes fat and one likes lean, we can choose what we want to watch. Certain performers are going to do certain things, Talon will slap tits, Dana DeArmond don't mind her tits being slapped, so we need to select the performers as well as the title when we choose to buy a movie. The more we watch porn the more you will know what to expect from performers and directors, after all if you see a movie with Tony T in it, you almost know there will be slapping, choking and spitting in the scene. In my opinion I like porn with edge, I steer clear of porn for couples, I like to see Dana getting roughly fucked, spanked and tit slapped by a couple of guys in her scenes, if there is spitting in the face, I just ignore it, to get one you put up with another, that's life. One more thing, Dana DeArmond is one of the top selling female porn stars and a hot babe, nearly all her scenes contain some rough sex with multiple partners, the thousands of us buying her movies can't all be wrong can we, after all this is porn and I know what I like.
When I used to play football, the coach would say, "Are you hurt, or are you injured?" The meaning was that if you were "Hurt" it was no big deal...You would forget about it by tomorrow...it was part of the deal. SO GET OVER IT. If you were "injured" then it was time to stop...go home..go to the hospital, etc. I remember throwing up during 2-a-day practices all the time. SO: #1, Gagging, throwing up, being spit on, being slapped,......is no big deal. As long as they "consent". #2, I said "CONSENT" NOT ENJOY! - I don't understand this idea that it is okay if the girl "enjoys" it, but not if she is uncomfortable. CLEARY SHE ENJOYS THE MONEY SHE IS EARNING MORE THAN SHE ABHORES THE SEX ACT. And finally... So what if the sex act is for money? Just because someone is doing something they don't enjoy for money doesn't mean it is wrong. What about Janitors? Who enjoys cleaning toilets? NOBODY. But good thing there are some people who want money more than clean hands. Do feel bad for the janitor? Do you feel like you shouldn't use the clean bathroom just because the janitor didn't Enjoy cleaning it???? Obviously, the enjoyment of watching said sex act has nothing to do with the enjoyment of the producing parties. As long as there is CONSENT it is a market transaction, pure and simple.
The land of moral relativity. As always very few of the adults have the integrity to take a stand on this issue. There is no right or wrong to alot of people here and everything is just up to your personal taste. I doubt any of the people making these empty vague statements have daughters. Choking a woman until she almost passes out and slapping her is wrong REGARDLESS of your sexual preferences and that's why most people agree on it being illegal and defined as domestic violence! The economy is so bad now that there is a very real possibility that someone you care about will end up in one of these movies and by your encouragement of it she will more than likely end up degraded just the way these women are. The universe just works that way. Once again thanks to all the male performers who DON'T engage in this dehumanization and to the women who demand they don't!
^ Hmm. I'm inclined to agree with you in terms of my gut reactions when I see this type of porn. I do have a question for you though. You say: "...thanks to all the male performers who DON'T engage in this dehumanization and to the women who demand they don't!" But, what about the women who demand they do?
the other issue with this activity is that its not some niche activity. Along with gagging and fishhooking and a couple of other things(don't even get me started on MILF titles). I have to see it in every freaking scene I watch. I hate that every studio and director(seemingly) has to copy the behaviour of every previous scene to the point where no matter who's vids I buy and no matter who's in the scene I will see fingers jammed in a girls mouth, spitting, slamming-choke-gag-throat-fucking, and slapping. Its like if every show on every network on every night had a title that started with CSI: err....

Obviously, according to darklyon, they are wrong. They just don't know what they are supposed to want in order to be real humans. Silly girls. But then, what's so great about being human anyway?
