AD AWARE finds it but can't delete it ... Use SPYBOT in advanced mode to delete some parts of it . And use AboutBuster : AboutBuster with all browsers closed . AboutBuster deletes many infected files that can't be deleted by AD AWARE and SPYBOT . The main page of INTERNET EXPLORER will be redirected to google.com . If you scan with AD AWARE , it will no longer find the spyware "about:blank " . If you redirect your IE main page to a blank page ( about:blank ) , AD AWARE will again find the "about:blank" spyware . I don't really understand why , but I think it's like a " memory effect " , because so many infected files have been deleted ! But I don't think it's really very dangerous . This is not a keylogger . I tried a few times , now I keep google as start page , so I don't have this f*****' ( censored !!!!! ) spyware anymore !!! [Link] |

It has the same name as the blank page , but it's not the same thing , this is made by the hackers who did COOLWEBSEARCH . But I downloaded AboutBuster what has found and deleted 10 Coolwebsearch:HomeSearch files what couldn't have been detected by AD AWARE or SPYBOT ( SPYBOT in normal mode ) , and I scanned with SPYBOT in advanced mode and it has found and deleted other Coolwebsearch:HomeSearch files . I have written this topic because my computer had SMARTSEARCH2 last June , what is a variant of COOLWEBSEARCH . There is a topic about coolwebsearch in this ADT tech forum , so I know that some people could have the same problem , so I posted this topic !!! There were 6 parts of Coolwebsearch what were on my hard drive since last june when Coolwebsearch came on my computer . So ... I advise SPY SWEEPER to you too , I will post a topic about it now , so read the topic about it ..... [Link] |
