How do I keep my computer safe? Well I have Zone Alarm Pro, Norton Anti-Virus Enterprise edition installed and of course my router firewall enabled. I frequently run spybot and ad-ware once in a while for security measures. Then Spyware Doctor caught my attention one day. After reading so many reviews about how this software was able to catch many spyware spybot and ad-ware couldn't. So I tried the trial version out and to my surprise when I did a full system scan it found over 30 infections in which more than 10 of them were spyware spyware and the rest cookies. Then I ran spybot and ad-ware, did a full system scan with my anti-virus and nothing found. After a week of using the sywpare doctor trial I found msyelf in a critical situation so I decided to purchased the goddam software. So I got home uninstalled the trial version and immediatelly installed the full version and guess what????? didn't find ******! This ****** software is a ****** scam and worthless. This is really dissapointing. How ****** ridiculous.

Thank you for reading.

Kicker,

I have Sypware Doctor and it works great! It picks up stuff that other programs don't. I'm not sure what the deal is with yours (what version is it?). Also do you update it? Just checking as mine works fine.

Didn't the trial version clean up the problems? If you ran the trial version of Spyware Doctor first and it cleaned your system then it would be logical that spybot and ad-ware wouldn't find anything. I suppose that the same goes for the full version of Spyware Doctor too if your system didn't pick up any new problems during the week.

I agree with Drew, if it already found stuff then it shouldn't have picked up anything else. Every so often I'll run it on my computer and it will find something but rarely. My computer has pretty good software on it but every so often I get something. I do know it works though as I installed the thing on a other computers and it found a shit load over a 1000 unwanted things on one computer! Nice program and I suggest it.

The way I understood it, the trial software can find stuff, but it cannot remove it. Thus, if someone had to buy the full version to get the stuff off that the trial version found, and then the full version didn't find anything, they would be pissed.

So the trial version made him believe he had spyware so he would buy the software? Now that's false advertisement for sure!
