I remember watching a scene with Gianna Michaels and Carmella Bing and thinking - There's about 300 pounds of 100% HOT that I'd like to jump in the middle of. Then again I think 95 pond Sandy Sweet is super hot too. To me, it depends more on the whole package than the particulars like height and weight. I do think Charlotte Stokley looked better BEFORE she lost so much weight.
Holly (around 5'4) and Charlotte (5'6) were at AVN this year and are no where near a UK 12 which is a US size 8, they are both either a 2 or 4. These are very petite girls (you need to see them in real life and see their small bone structures, especially Holly who looked very thin when I last saw recent photos of her in Feb), which is why they have both done so many magazine layouts. They are both also champs when it comes to being featured in solo sets online. None of the true size 12s, i.e. Lisa Sparxxx or Brandy Talore are accorded such privileges. Jenna Haze is very, very small which is why her AVN outfits are specially made for her. She is US size 0. She cannot be taller than 5'0 at best and that tiny actress from Sex and the City that people rave about for her thinness could not fit into Jenna's clothes. ^ I bow to your superior knowledge and experience on this, I was making a judgement on the material I had to hand, It's going to be a great shame if we end up with every girl having the same slim appearance. Charlotte was a particlur favourite of mine because of her slighltly curvier appearance and her fantastic butt, I'm quite dissapointed that she felt the need to change to a more slim and toned look.
I would guess that porn performers who lose so much weight are not always trying to get skinny, but sometimes the drugs and anal diet contribute to the new string bean look.
^Yeah I remember seeing an interview in BTS of Nicole Brazzle where she complained that she was losing weight even though she didn't want to because of her anal diet. It looks like, as fans, maybe we want to have our cake and eat it too, by wanting stars to do a lot of anal, but still stay nice and curvy.
If you do a lot of anal scenes, fasting/enemas are required for a day or two beforehand. So there are no "accidents" on set. I'm sure laxatives are used as well. This could obviously cause one to lose weight over time.

Weight is a very touchy subject when it comes to women in porn. Whatever skewed idea a person has about the way they look before they get into porn, they will bring with them. That is why the negative is always easier to see than the positive. The negative is a justification of what they are already looking for as a physical flaw or pre-existing insecurity. I am only speaking from personal experience. I am a perfect example as a performer who reads too many of the negative comments (for example my lack of ass) and takes it all in. The problem is that there will always be a critic commenting on every aspect of our physical being because that is what is being displayed for all to see. Unfortunately, our society in particular is really caught up on physical looks. In order to survive as a woman in porn these days you have to have thick skin and try not to take everything to heart. No matter what, taste in looks will always differ dramatically. Not to mention, weight is a fad that goes in and out of style. In the end... it should be the full package anyways. Maybe this is why Gianna has been able to keep her luscious curves. I'd say most performers could do to gain a few more pounds, I love the 'natural' look.
I don't quite understand exactly where women in general would be getting the idea that super thin is sexier or better. Tabloids are constantly coming down on female celebs that are too skinny. In general rounder more fuller curves are in right now. I've never seen so many women commenting they want a bigger rounder butt. I just read in the tabloids that Christina Ricci does excersizes trying to get a butt like Jessica Biel and another teen celeb wanting a bigger rounder butt. Fashion generally is geared more toward curvier frames these days. In porn many of the hottest titles feature "thicker" big butt women. The only titles that would possibly encourge a thin frame would be the just over 18 "teen" stuff and quite frankly the "thicker" bodied MILF titles are bigger sellers at the moment. I don't mind a starlet gaining weight in most cases. But there are a few who have put on pounds and they just don't carry it well. There's currently a startlet who I've always been a big fan of and she retired for a time and when she came back she had packed on some pounds and most of it went to her mid section. She had some great curves before that were all gone now because she had a barrel shape. In one of her "Behind The Scenes" scenes she mentions putting together a work out with help from her co-star and in some of the latest movies she's been in from the look the of the back boxcover she's losing the weight. I just wish she took the time to lose some of the weight before she made her comeback. I don't want to see her rail thin because I think she looked best when she had a more voluptuous (fuller) body but the pounds se put on while she was retired are/were pretty unflattering.

1. clothing is designed for super skinny women. 2. women on tv/mags/etc. are size 2 or smaller. 3. cameras add pounds. The only ones who are being called "too skinny" (in tabloids and such) are so beyond skinny that they are digesting their own organs. The opinions of the people here at ADT are not reflected in women's mags, fashion or TV.
Fashion Magazines, controlled by women and gay men, still emphesize the super skinny woman figure. For Celebrity women there's still a lot of pressure to keep their figure, or else if you put on a few pounds like Jennifer Love Hewitt it'll be a story with negetive conotations. You mention Jessica Biel as if she's some model of the anti-skinny movement. If that's the case we're really in trouble. Granted society is getting better in moving away from the "skinny is how it needs to be" message. But the important thing is to portray curvey and a little thick as being sexy, not the lambasting of those that are skinny which I think accomplishes little. To its creit (or probably to its advantage) the porn industry is so much better than Hollywood or the fashion industry in portraying the sexiness and acceptability of different forms of the woman body.

I remember Leah Stevenson when she hit the biz as a cute little brace-face anal lover and then one day I see her in a couple of Rodney Moore large girl flicks with a major major weight gain and I thought aww too bad bit I still had no issue enjoying her performace. Later flicks appear to show she knocked the weight waaay back again so high five to her.
Her weight gain probably had more to do with her prison stints, than being a couch potatoe. I hope Jenna Haze takes calcium supplements, because she is underweight for her height.
^According to the stats I provided above (5'3'', 92lbs), Jenna Haze has a BMI of 16.3 - anything below 18.5 is considered underweight, so she's actually a fair bit underweight. But the BMI doesn't always tell the whole story, as I mentioned earlier in this thread - it won't account for something like an abnormally small bone structure, just as one example. I'll say this. A word I have used quite often is sloppy. Sloppy is just that, flabby, stretch marks and cottage cheese from the floor up. Stars of all ages have gotten sloppy! I agree, and I said this more than a year ago. The weight that Brianna Love gained from her initial RLD contract as very flattering. I'm not a Penny Flame fan, but her pics on LA Direct also show weight gain and it looks great. Cherokee (not the black one) is a great example of ho thickness can be sexy (even though her performances are not) Yes, some women will have soft tummy's and motherhood is not kind to all, but as long as these females stay active physically, I think they are fine. Jeanna Fine went up and down in her last years, but the weight always fell in the right places. Same could be said for Lovette, Bridgette K and Nina Hartley.
Personally I don't care much about all those toned butts, I want to see more butts ala Cherokee D'Ass. For me it's better that way especially the way she can shake her ass. Ass should not only be big enough to shake but it should also be big enough to jiggle!
It makes me SO freakin' happy to see so many of you appreciate those of us who are thicker and muscular!! Its absurd that some people think that theres only ONE body shape that is beautiful...that you have to starve yourself or otherwise be unhealthy to try to obtain some unrealistic thin-ness.
