Do people in porn ever use Glidecam or Steadicam and what is the difference?

A few minutes ago I thought stabilizers would be of limited use to porn directors because I assumed that when you attached a camera to a stabilizer you couldn't tilt up or down with them.

But then I found out that you can tilt These things are more versatile than I'd first thought.

There are 2 types of stabilizers: handheld and strap-on (does this mean stabilizer designers watch porn too?). For porn I think the handheld stabilizer would be best because it's sled is relatively short which means you can move close to flailing legs and whatnot without risk of bumping the camera, it's lighter as well.

The strap-on stabilizer has a lot of bulk (longer sled, the arm that holds it, and the vest) and that added mass definitely makes for a steadier image, but might make it too big and heavy to operate for the tighter shots.

Of course this is just b.s. I'm making up as I've never actually used a stabilizer myself. Some of the camerawork I've seen, like the opening to Cytherea's scene in Chris Streams' What Gets You Off where he tracks behind a person as they walk and buzzes around them while they're talking (all without camera shake), look very fluid and would be quite difficult to get without stabilization.
