It doesn't have the feel of a Golden Age film, nor the performers or performances of a Golden Age film. It looks like a mid-1990's VCA Platinum release (i.e. the recent additions to the New Wave Hookers and Devil in Miss Jones series). The principal stars, Kylie Ireland, Juli Ashton, and Stacey Valentine, while better than most, are still a far cry from the great porn stars of 20 years ago. 3. Marilyn Chambers is 47 years old. She looks okay for a 47-year old, but unless you're into videos like "Granny's Gang Bang," you're not going to think she's hot. She's definitely put on some weight, and her 80's breast implants are a liability. She's nothing like what she looked like in 1979. I think it's worth a rental for the curiosity factor, but it's not a keeper as far as I'm concerned. It's got a storyline (though it requires the typical porn suspension of disbelief) and several cameos. And the scenes without MC are pretty decent. I would hold out for the inevitable follow-up release, Torn, which is the comeback of Ginger Lynn, if you have a limited ADVD budget. Saki [Link] |
